Ellie La Shihtzu

In regards to previous posts for the ones who gets upset at me for shaving Ellie down. I do what is best for her. And this is a REOCCURRING issue. Been to the vet before for this. And the vet says to shower her with medicated shampoo every other day and put ointment on her and this is an ongoing thing. There are days that good and there are days that are worse. At the moment her rashes is at is worse, appearing everywhere and everyday new ones flare up. In order for me to tame it and prevent it from getting worse. I need to shave her down in order to put cream and lotion her body. I CANNOT lotion the hair, it is the skin I need to lotion. So understand why it needs to be done instead of making unnecessary comments as to “why or you don’t understand …!?!?!?” 😞
I am not happy with her having to be bare either.
But if it is for her health rather than having it get worse, I will do what I have to do over beauty.
I have try changing food too, it worked than it doesn’t work 😬. So far I find this method tames it. So Ellie will be bare for a bit but hair goes back.

Happy Lunar New Year 🧧!!!
To everyone that celebrate it 🧧🧧🧧

***PLEASE read why I am shaving Ellie down before anyone makes unnecessary comments as to why I am shaving her down!!! It is not like I am shaving her down for no reason***

We ShihTzu are one of the greatest breed!!!
BUT one of the down side of our breed is the skin rashes we inherited in our genes 😬😩😫
So, it Is that time again where my skin rashes are flaring up again 😬. Mommy have to shave me
bare in order to apply medication and coconut oil ALL over my body daily for the next week or so to help heal it. What a drag, But it's ok, that mean I be wearing sweater all week (See comments area for the photos of my rashes, anyone else have it too?)

I always keep Ellie's eyes, nose, and mouth area cleaning groomed. especially the eyes to prevent eye infection which shihtzus are known for.
