Happy Adoptiversary to Me!

Nine years ago today (top photo) was my first ride home from the humane society.

Snap shot from tonight (bottom photo) after playing with Livi.

I’ve made strides from the terrified boy that wouldn’t lie down and stood for multiple hours shaking on the corner of the dining room rug night one.

Now I run this joint in spite of the occasional fear.

So I, of course, got lots of snacks, wrestles and extra walk time today. Which is no different from any other day. Just as every day should be.
