⭐️ Long, but very important, post alert! ⭐️
Firstly, there has been a slight miscommunication with Vodafone and my work number has been disconnected 😅 so please delete the old phone number and contact me on 07729 202408 instead.
Secondly, most of you know but if I haven't spoken to you in person it's because I haven't seen you, had a chance to or haven't been able to bring myself to talk about it, but unfortunately I am closing down the grooming business and taking a career change. Sadly, with the increase in insurance and tax as well as ULEZ it is extremely costly now to run the van and keep the price of grooms at a reasonable rate. I also have alot of pain from grooming in my back, both wrists and left shoulder, unfortunately these types of injuries are very common with dog grooming as it is a physical job that is hard on the body and if I carry on grooming these issues will only get worse with time. The van is being scrapped at the beginning of March so most of you still have one more groom with me before it goes, I don't have many slots left but if you would like to have one last grooming session please contact me ASAP.
That being said, I can recommend a few other groomers who are great with dogs and I know will look after and love your four legged's as much as I do.
Kati at KT’s Bark Boutique has a lovely brand new home based salon in Coney Hall, her phone number is +44 7805 937909 and she only works one to one with the dogs. I've known Kati for around 20 years and trust her implicitly with my own dogs.
Frances at Pev's Pampered Paws is a van mobile groomer exactly the same as myself and her number is +44 7766 977416.
And House of Hounds, Petts Wood is a lovely open front salon and pet shop which is where I currently work now on Thursdays and Fridays, again I have been working there for a while now and trust all the ladies there to look after your dogs. I may continue working there Thursdays and Fridays after I finish mobile grooming but it depends on what I do work wise after the van is scrapped. If you consider taking your dog there to still be groomed by myself please note that you will then be a customer of theirs and will have to book in directly with them (you can request me to groom your dog) and the price of the groom may be different to what I currently charge you. I've loved the 8 years I've been grooming and getting to know you and your dogs, and it means so much that you have trusted me to look after and love them, I will miss every single one of you.
