All I want for Christmas is....
..a cockerpoo puppy 👀

These 4 week old puppies are finally up for sale! Mum is a cockerpoo and dad is a full poodle, both mum and dad are groomed by me so I know both parents well, as well as their very tired owner 🤣 6 males and 2 unusual merle females available, good homes only!

Hello all, firstly please let me apologise for the longest post ever in the history of Woof Woof posts. From tomorrow (Tues 29th August 2023) the ULEZ charge expands to Bromley and as my van is not ULEZ compliant this means that any time I take it out it will unfortunately incur a daily charge of £12.50. This charge will be split between however many dogs I have that day, so for example if I have 4 dogs booked in, it will be £3 extra per dog. This also means that if you miss/forget/cancel an appointment (cancellation within 48hrs) you will still be liable to pay for the ULEZ charge as well as 50% of your grooming fee which will need to be paid before I rebook your dog in. In the past I have been fairly relaxed about missed appointments but sadly, I have had too many occasions where appointments have been missed and as I am self employed, if someone forgets their appointment then I cannot fill that space and I don't get paid.
If you are local to me in West Wickham you are more than welcome to bring your dog to me at my house where you will not have to pay the ULEZ charge but please note that multiple dog owners will have to swap dogs over as they are groomed, I cannot have multiple dogs in the van at the same time.
As you know, I try to keep grooming as affordable as possible for everyone but unfortunately it is just not feasible to buy and convert a new van and I cannot afford to pay nearly an extra £300 per month for the ULEZ charge. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any queries or requests and as ever, thank you so much for supporting me and my small business 🐾

Perfecting your art takes time and dedication. The photo on the left was when I'd just qualified and the picture on the right was 2 years later. 2 years of watching endless videos, attending seminars, reading, asking the pro's questions. Needless to say, my grooms have got much better which is def a good thing because the photo on the left is a bit embarrassing 😅

The owner of Bear was one of my very first original customers and to this day, is still one of my best. She knew I was a brand new groomer but she put her trust in me and kept me grooming her dogs and I am so, so grateful for people like Sarah Mawbey.

Sarah is going to be doing the 3 peaks challenge with her husband and daughter to raise money for British Heart Foundation, she's been training for months (its been a nightmare trying to book her dogs in as she's currently always up a mountain somewhere!). The BHF are a charity I strongly support and to support Sarah and her family I've already donated, however I'd love it if you could also donate, even a small amount to help them reach their target. It's for a super good cause and for every Woof Woof customer donation I'll donate an extra £5 😊

I have every faith that they will smash the 3 peaks just like Sarah kept faith in me to smash my goals of becoming a half decent groomer!

These poisoning cases are very local to us in Shirley, if you walk your dogs at Millers Pond (or near any large body of water) please keep an eye on them. These cases have not been confirmed as blue green algae and it is suspected to be chemical poisoning.
Our hearts go out the dogs and families that have already been affected, keep an eye on your pooches, we don't want anymore dogs tragically lost 😢

I don't normally like to post stuff like this but unfortunately this is something I feel quite strongly about.
The ULEZ is set to come in August and my van is not ULEZ compliant, this means that the cost of it will fall onto you, my customers, in an already increasing cost of living crisis. I cannot simply go out and get a new van as they aren't cheap, as well as having to get it converted! As most of you know I also spent aloooooot of money on it just over a year ago (thanks AV Autos 😉) so to just scrap it would be gut wrenching.
If you feel the same way I do please take a few mins to sign the below petition, this ULEZ charge affects everyone including those who don't even live in a London borough.

Sometimes we have to bring a spare pair of pants with us to work, because trimming this close to a dogs eyes with stupidly sharp scissors (thanks Wickham Sharpening 🤪) is slightly terrifying, even after so many years of doing it 👀
Thankfully Teddy is the goodest of the good boys, he doesn't even mind my outstanding double chin 🥰🤣

As some of you know, I go mantrailing with my smallest and have been doing it for a while now. Not only is Natasha Filler one of the best mantrailing instructors, she's really passionate about what she does, she really loves the dogs and has the biggest heart.
She has recently started fostering an 11 week old blind puppy called Twig who may also be deaf. This puppy would not still be with us today if it wasn't for people like Natasha and the charity she works with.
Unfortunately the charity is struggling financially and needs help so that Twig can see a specialist to ascertain the full extent of what is going on with him. No one likes to ask for money but I've met this puppy, had cuddles and he's so gorgeous I just could not imagine putting him down just because he's different ☹
For every £5 donated by one of my customers I'll match 50% of it so Twig can get the help he needs. I can't wait to see what this little puppy develops into ❤
