My moms been packing her cobalt blue glass collection all day and I’ve been getting in trouble between my naps. She keeps mumbling and asking herself why oh why is she keeping all this stuff… including me I think!?!?! She cray cray!!! Her loves me in spite of myself!☺️🐶

Oh happy day! The heat pump broke yesterday so no heat downstairs. We ran the fireplace UNTIL we ran out of propane… also yesterday! The upstairs heat pump works but the dogs and I don’t really go up there much! I have the oven on to 500 and the door slightly ajar. Thankfully I have a dual fuel range! Gas cooktop and electric oven! The dogs are happy because they knew they were getting groomed this week and now I can’t do it because I want them to be warm and snuggly not shivering. So, here we are all cuddled up on moms chair keeping each other warm!! Oh, it’s 8 degrees outside! Am I back home in Michigan or what?!?? The heating company can’t come out until Friday. I’m not sure about the propane company but I hope it’s soon! As long as I have my fur babies, minus Lovie, and my electric throw, I’m good (I think)! I’m sure glad I don’t have puppies to keep warm right now! I hate to see this months electric bill… for all of us! They’re gonna be brutal! Stay warm! Can you imagine what the poor people in North Carolina are going through? I pray they get some help soon!

Cheese and Herb Dog Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (low-fat, low-sodium)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or basil (dog-safe herbs)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg

Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, shredded cheese, and herbs.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and applesauce together.
4. Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry mixture until a dough forms.
5. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
6. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are firm and golden brown.
8. Let the biscuits cool completely before serving.

Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
