Good news!! Ralphie is adopted! I miss him terribly -- but he has a brilliant home. Lisa wanted him from the beginning, but had a load of things going on in life so couldn't take him right away. She also had a wee pup named Cheeto who had an injured leg that needed to heal before bringing in a comparatively big guy like Ralphie. She and I stayed in touch and while Cheeto still has his bum leg, she was ready to welcome Ralphie when I came through her town on my road trip to Houston. Lisa is an experienced adopter, super patient, and just loves our boy. I am so happy for them both. I miss him terribly! But I know they are the perfect match!!! Congratulations Lisa and Ralphie!!

Foster Ralphie had the last of his cold laser treatments on his surgery spot. The surgeon said he looks perfect and the knee is as good or better than new! Here he is being Drama King Ralphie. He weighs 18 pounds, roughly six Wee Figs, but he is still a little dog. And yet he becomes a cobra at the vet. He hisses and makes these benign, harmless little strikes -- And then hides his face in shame. Any other time and he is sweet and silly and fun and utterly predictable. Put him in front of someone with scrubs on and he is possessed. So I put a little muzzle on him in order for everyone to be able be comfortable being their authentic selves. Even if that is a wee cobra.🙄😳😂 Even when he is Cobra Ralphie, they all love him dearly and treat him with such loving kindness. He is a wonderful boy.
