Mom is really pushing her luck with her attempts to get me to bond with the Cheese Ball. I’m only hissing 60% of the time, but Gouda is getting more brave and flops his little CH kitty self all the way over to me. I am not amused… but he may turn out to be a baby brother that I can love once I get over my own attitude problem.

Jade (Repo Cat) here,

Mom finally got on here and changed the page’s name… but forgot to tell me when my cheese will be coming home. Apparently, she doesn’t quite know yet, but I’m becoming suspicious as new cat bowls and toys are showing up around the apartment. She even had the nerve to put me in a harness…

I don’t know what other tricks she has up her sleeve, but I assure you I will tell you all about them!

We have a little one joining the family soon!

Meet Gouda! Jasper Cat & God really looked out for Jade & I with this one. We are eagerly waiting to bring him home!

With Jasper Cat’s passing, it feels like it’s time for a name change. If you have any page title ideas for Jade & Gouda going forward, drop them in the comments below!

Jasper Cat wasted no time in guiding us to our soon-to-be newest member of the family. Once Gouda is old enough (in 5-10 weeks), he will join the Gott household. I was not looking for a new cat, but Jasper had other plans and maybe I’ll share the story soon. Any donations will go to Jasper’s memorial and Gouda’s arrival, with whatever is left going to a charity.

Jasper Niklaus Gott passed away at the age of 9 on 6/13/2022 due to congestive heart failure. It was very sudden and he passed on his own terms. Words cannot describe how much Jade and I will miss this sweet sweet boy.
