I’ve always been a dog person. But never having had a pet dog as I was growing up I never realised just how much they become
a member of the family and such a short amount of time. We picked up Bolli (Bollinger in full, well he is champagne colour after all) on Christmas Eve 2016. Arriving at the breeders house at 8.30am after a four hour drive, my husband and I were both super excited and incredible nervous about bringing our bundle of 9 week old fluff home. Needless to say by the time we were back home we were totally smitten and ready for what a puppy brings with him. As a dog mum – yep that’s how I now refer to myself but I’m sure I’m not the only one, I quickly realised even anyone so much as uttered a bad word about my baby let alone hurt him in anyway, my heart would rip into a gazillion pieces. Bolli is the reason I started Simply Sophia and Bolli. Being a member of many online and local dog groups I noticed there was a huge trend to use our fur babies to announce other celebrations in our lives and even ensure they don’t miss out on treats for their birthday. I also know as a busy dog mum myself we don’t always have the time to source the gifts and props needed for such occasions. Introducing the celebration boxes from Simply Sophia and Bolli.
