I’ve always been a dog person. But never having had a pet dog as I was growing up I never realised just how much they become

a member of the family and such a short amount of time. We picked up Bolli (Bollinger in full, well he is champagne colour after all) on Christmas Eve 2016. Arriving at the breeders house at 8.30am after a four hour drive, my husband and I were both super excited and incredible nervous about bringing our bundle of 9 week old fluff home. Needless to say by the time we were back home we were totally smitten and ready for what a puppy brings with him. As a dog mum – yep that’s how I now refer to myself but I’m sure I’m not the only one, I quickly realised even anyone so much as uttered a bad word about my baby let alone hurt him in anyway, my heart would rip into a gazillion pieces. Bolli is the reason I started Simply Sophia and Bolli. Being a member of many online and local dog groups I noticed there was a huge trend to use our fur babies to announce other celebrations in our lives and even ensure they don’t miss out on treats for their birthday. I also know as a busy dog mum myself we don’t always have the time to source the gifts and props needed for such occasions. Introducing the celebration boxes from Simply Sophia and Bolli. All put together to suit your dog by me with the final tail wag of approval from Bolli himself.
