Dr. Lori Minteer, mixed animal practitioner (large, small, and exotic), DMV in sunny South Florida, is hiring for a veterinary technician/assistant for long-term employment.

Veterinary technical education and experience is preferred and will positively affect hourly wage, for the right person, on-the-job training is possible.
Applicants key traits MUST include:

- Have a "team player" attitude
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks
In addition to the normal technical skills such as:
- Restraint,
- Procedure preparation
- Venipuncture
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical assistance
- Laboratory sample collection and submission
the position also carries additional responsibilities of:
- Client communication
- Client education
- Scheduling of appointments
- Maintaining medical records
- And most importantly patient care
Pay rate is dependant on experience and certification but ranges from $12-20 per hour.
Weekends off for family and fun!!
There is the possibility of on-farm housing, especially if you are coming from out of the area.
