Full Moon Farm Full Service Equestrian Facility Our lesson program is focused on providing a safe and enjoyable family atmosphere for learning.

Located in beautiful Carroll County, Maryland Full Moon Farm is a family owned and operated full service equine facility convenient to Reisterstown, Westminster and Ellicott City. The farm encompasses 200 acres within a short hack of the Liberty Reservoir watershed and includes an 60' x 180' indoor, a 80' x 160 foot lighted outdoor arena, a 200' x 400 outdoor arena, and a cross country course with

a water complex, bank complex, ditches, trakheners and obstacles from elementary through intermediate. We have the instructors, horses, and facilities to accommodate all levels from beginner to advanced and our students range from dedicated competitors who ride everyday to beginning riders who ride once a week. United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA)

Applications are NOW OPEN for the Full Moon Farm Leg Up Scholarship! 🐎🌕

Strides for Equality Equestrians is thrilled to partner with Full Moon Farm to share this new, fully funded opportunity for equestrians to ride, train, and compete in Maryland!

From August 21-25, 2025, the selected Leg Up Scholar will join a small group for intensive training at Full Moon Farm in Carroll County, followed by competition coaching at Waredaca Starter Trials and/or the FFIJE Summer Show.

What’s included?
• Three lessons on-site at Full Moon Farm
• Coaching at the weekend competition
• Horse use or boarding
• Housing for the duration
• Travel/trailering reimbursement (if needed)

This is an amazing chance to grow as a rider and competitor in a welcoming, supportive environment. 💜

Full Moon Farm had a great few outings cross country schooling with 13 horses and riders at Shawan Downs during Maryland Combined Training Association schooling week. We love the chance to support our local organization which exposing our horses and riders to new and exciting challenges. Great job to all of our participants and thank you coaches and volunteers for making it happen.

Another great show in the FMF FFIJE Show Series! Even with a little bit of rain we had a blast in the Hunter, Equitation, and Jumper classes. Hats off to the coaches, riders, horses and volunteers for making it a good experience for everyone involvement and we look forward to having everyone back for our July event on July 6. Full Moon Farm loved being back at Shawan Downs with MCTA for the Jenny Camp HT! Rain or shine it’s always a fun event for the riders and horses to learn and experience the fun of eventing.
