I began crocheting in Sept. My first professionally published designs appeared in the August 1997 issue of Crochet World magazine. When I got a new puppy

in 2000 who was a 'hairy hairless' Chinese Crested, it was inevitable that I would begin designing and making dog sweaters and other dog and dog-themed items. I did have an online storefront for a few years but we had some life changes happen and I let it go by the wayside. I thought I'd re-open it now, but in a Facebook selling venue rather than a site that charges high fees. I have found that by offering 'custom' sweaters, I am able to keep costs, and therefore my prices, down. So it doesn't make a lot of sense to have to increase my prices to cover selling fees. I can do sweaters, coats & jackets, costumes, sport jerseys & cheerleader outfits, vests, dresses, formal wear, dog bows, pjs and jammies, robes, kimonos, hoodies, slippers, fancy collars, collar decorations like bow ties, hats, even scarf/hat sets. Not so long ago, I began making dog-themed items for the humans. I made my husband a Dachshund cup/mug cozy which is beyond adorable! Dog-themed items include plushie key chains, cup/mug cozies, mug rugs & coasters, tissue box covers, frames, ornaments, scarves, hats, fingerless gloves, mittens,sweaters, totes and bags, slippers, home decor, afghans, pillows, wall hangings and so on. And keep in mind, I am a designer as well, so if you have an idea, let's talk about it! I can do lots of different breeds or mixed-breeds, mutts, non-pedigreed dogs. If you have a unique furbaby, you are welcome to submit a photo and I will see what I can do about making a likeness. In the sad circumstances of someone having a beloved furbaby that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I offer 'In Memorial' handcrafted blue icicle ornaments with poem card. I have several suitable silver charms that can be added for a more personal touch. The blue icicle is my original design and is offered in various shades of blue. I do sometimes use patterns that are not my original designs, and some of the pics in the albums are stock photos for the pattern. Not crocheted, but I also offer some papercrafted items... I came up with these mainly as a way to raise funds for local rescues, but having given away a few, I found that they were popular as gifts. These include cards, mini dog-recipe books, small dog medical records and info book,and bags of treats in plastic baggies with decorative bag toppers, these I have these for everyday or Christmas. I also have available M&Ms poem cards with bag toppers for humans. Like dog lovers, shelters, rescues. GREAT FOR FUNDRAISERS! Please contact me if you are a non-profit organization looking for a inexpensive but popular item to sell to raise funds for your organization. Many of them I can personalize with your organizations name. (I can do cats for any of these as well)
