That time of year when we are all looking out the window waiting for the weather to get nice. Pretty soon we will all be out walking! If you need help with your dog’s leash manners when out trying to give them some exercise let us know.

New friend Bruno has had some serious problems with aggression towards other dogs, which is so sad for a pup this young. This is great for him to watch other dogs play together and show interest in joining. It is possible in this situation because Tory and Bobby are doing a great job of ignoring him and not forcing an interaction he isn’t ready for.

Caught a fun little training moment while filming the new puppy being cute. Bobby wants to chew on this blanket. While it seems adorable and harmless, chewing on blankets is not allowed. It is destructive and potentially harmful if a dog gets in that habit and swallows things they can’t digest. We stop the petting and nice voice, say NO and physically make him stop. He does it again, we do it again. The third time he responds just to the word NO without being touched and gives up. Quick little bit of effort on the part of the owner that could potentially save a future disaster. Even at this age of not even 8 weeks, you can see how he learns quickly from some mild discipline. After this the camera was put down to go get a toy that it is appropriate for Bobby to chew on.
