I’ve been getting a few inquiries about boarding & grooming lately so I thought I’d share my top recommendations in the area! 🐩✂️🏠

🔸Biscuit Eaters is a stress-free in home unique boarding experience. Heather is a trainer herself and I cant recommend a better place to take your anxious dogs, your dogs with behavioral needs, special needs, etc. Heather is wonderful and will make your pup feel like they’re at home.

🔸Muddy Paws Dog Grooming & Boarding is on the outskirts of Oswego County, with years of experience in grooming and now boarding, Colleen & Scott run a beautiful, clean, climate controlled facility out on Tughill road. The facility is in a countryside setting so your dog has beautiful views out of the big back play yard! You can ensure your dogs safety, needs are met and fulfilled at Muddy Paws. Bonus is your dog may get visits from me , as I work the boarding side of things here & there!

🔸 Pinecreek Canine Kennels & Grooming, last but certainly not least. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Aniessa through mutual friends and working with her majestic st.Bernard, Walter. Aniessa’s home away from home boarding kennel is on a farm surrounded with fun smells and doggie friends for your dog to play with. Aniessa has a beautiful big yard in the country for the dogs , along with an indoor play space for the chilly days.

Each one of these business owners are guaranteed professionals with years of experience and knowledge in the industry. All of these options are unique, fun, and safe options for your dogs home away from home boarding stay or regular grooming visit!❤️

So excited to have Miss Ivy back for the week! She is such a sweetheart once she knows you and knows she can trust you. Ivy can be a bit selective with her doggie and human friends so I took the time and built a relationship with her. She was perfect for her first stay and it was like she and I have seen each other everyday since then when she got here for the 2nd stay. It's so worth it to take the time and build the trust. The rest is east after that!!!

Dog training truths , are you truly ready to sign your dog up for Training ? 🐾‼️

🐶 Dog Training takes TIME. Training is not always night & day results.

🐶 The owner / dog relationship is the most important thing. Without a clear relationship with your dog how will they look up to you as a leader ?

🐶 Dog Training takes CONSISTENCY. Your private lesson trainer can only do so much, it’s YOU who is with the dog 24/7 so it’s YOU who needs to put in the work with the knowledge, skill set, and tools your trainer provides.

Mental stimulation is just as important as exercise. Kongs, lickmats and bones are great but so is giving them nose work! I took a towel and sprinkled Hopper's kibble all over it. Rolled it corner to corner and tied it in a knot and he worked to get it open. And it keeps the dog busy for more then 5 minutes!

The DOGnasium is a private dog gym! Play sessions are 1 on 1 with you and your pup or you can add friends & families pups! This is not a public group play or drop off daycare facility. Self service access 24/7 with electronic door lock access. Membership is required just like a human gym!

Everyone meet Luna! Luna is 4 years old GSD and so very loved by her mom and human sister. She is a very sweet girl! Luna gets too wild on the leash, almost like she doesn't know how to walk on a leash and gets reactive around distractions. Mom gets anxious even thinking about trying to walk her so it's time to teach her how walk nicely and calmly so they can both enjoy the walks again. She is also going to learn the art of being calm around distractions! She is so smart and did amazing on her first session, and mom is definitely dedicated to the training. I can't wait to see how they progress and actually get back out into the world together 🐾🐾
