EARLY HISTORY:
Found in a box by the side of the Pelham Parkway in the Bronx I was taken to the ASPCA's shelter in New York City. At about 12 weeks of age i was introduced to this couple wanting a friend for their older cat Simon. They came in looking for an older cat, but they found me! Chatty Cathy:
I meowed a lot in my cell.... errr i mean cage, and the staff thought i might be a talker and while i am a bit of a chatty Cathy, it turns out i was meowing a lot because i wanted to be with the people that i heard outside of my errr....cage. The couple obviously liked me (who wouldn't?) and then they took me home! With a careful introduction I became great friends with Simon their older cat. HOW I GET AROUND:
Now the question I get most often is, how do I get around without bumping into things? Well, i DO bump into things now and then haha, but i have a really good spatial memory and my other senses help me a lot too. Every time they take me on a trip (and I have been to quite a few places) I just start exploring, walking around and around until i feel like i know the place. THE LITTER BOX AND FINDING IT:
In the 5 or 6 homes or places I've been to, i have NEVER missed the litter box! They show it to me right off, and that's it, my nose and memory brings me back. VACATION:
I had never been on a beach before (if you scroll down far enough you will see pics) but after a day or so exploring with my parents i realized there WAS NOTHING TO BUMP INTO and i started running and jumping, so happy! We would even run down the beach together, that was so much fun! VITAL STATISTICS:
I was born on Sept 30, 2011. I weigh 7lbs. My left eye isn't really there, and my right eye doesn't see anything. I have all my claws! I am a bit of a princess! I know what I like and i know how to ask for it. And yes i am a bit chatty! MUSIC:
Lastly, I love ringtones! Yes that's right, ringtones and if I hear one playing, i will come running and will jump up on the person's lap who's playing it. There might even be a little video way down there of me doing just that! And now, a few words from my adoptive parents.

Jenny has altered our lives. She has totally changed our understanding of what it means to be different, we can't even use the word "disability" or "special needs" because she isn't disabled, she just "sees" in a different way. One of the greatest gifts Jenny gave us was to help nurture and grow our own compassion. We thought we were helping her but she was helping us! Adopt a special cat or dog and you too will know exactly what we mean.

SYNOPSIS:
Avery always wanted a cat and when they brought Happy the cat home from the shelter the family thought it would be the happiest day ever... but it wasn't. It was a cat-tastrophy! Happy clawed at their furniture, stole dinner off the table, and woke mom and dad up at 4 o'clock in the morning! The parents wanted to return Happy but Happy was Avery's best friend, so something had to be done! Enter a certified cat-sultant named Mr. Top Cat who came to their home to help Happy be a happy cat.
