NOTE: Feeding guinea pigs excessive amounts of fruits and vegetables high in sugar, like bananas and carrots, can potentially cause digestive issues and bloat.
If you give your guinea pig too much calcium, it can lead to urinary problems like bladder stones or urinary tract infections. When giving your guinea pigs calcium, expect white urine. If the urine is gritty, seek a vet.
If you give your guinea pig too much fiber, it can lead to digestive issues like bloating or diarrhea.
If you give your guinea pig too much vitamin C, it can potentially cause digestive upset or diarrhea.
If you give your guinea pig too much water-rich fruits and vegetables, it can potentially lead to loose stools or diarrhea.
