A quick recap for show season 2024!

🐺 GCH “Lupin” showed less than a dozen times and garnished TWO Best In Show Owner Handler, a Best Of Variety Specialty Show, worked alongside a Junior at the ETSCA National Specialty for a Best Junior Handler in National Specialty, and awarded Select Dog at the ETSCA Supported show.

🌟GCH “Cedric” came out of retirement for the ETSCA National Specialty and won Best Stud Dog in National Specialty, alongside his two sons, Nox and Snitch

🖤 Nox debuted at the ETSCA National Specialty and won Best Of Variety In Sweepstakes, Best Of Opposite S*x In Sweepstakes (Combined varieties) and Reserve Winners Dog to the major. He has since been home and will be coming back out in the winter 2024/2025

💛 Snitch showed limitedly and won a Bred By Group 2, and is half way finished his Championship. At the ETSCA National Specialty he won Best Bred By in National Specialty. He is now home to grow up for a while!

🐉 NEW INTRODUCTION! Norbert! 🐉
Accio! and FleurDeLys (Canada) worked together in a stunning breeding between Lupin and the Canadian CH female “Peaches”. We had a successful and beautiful litter which boasts a stunning pedigree back to Maibee Kennels. We are so happy to welcome Norbert into our home, who is a spitting image of his daddy Lupin in good looks and sassy personality.

I’ve been so busy between dog shows and AKCs Meet The Breeds, it totally slipped my mind to post my two little wizards Birthday photoshoot! Nox and Snitch loved their birthday cake smash, and officially celebrated their 1st on January 18th! ⭐️📸

I have been SO far behind in posting on my page, and for those who follow, I am so very sorry! 2023 has been a whirlwind of a year with so much to announce, and it is only May!

January started off with a 💥 BANG 💥 with Lupin finishing his Championship in style under esteemed judge Mr. David Fitzpatrick. Lupin has since been shown once since finishing, and is now pointed towards his Grand Championship- with a Champion Defeat!

The second week of January brought MUCH excitement to Accio! and Cottage as we welcomed our first co-bred litter. GCH CH "Cedric" and CH "Charms" welcomed 4 beautiful and healthy puppies into the world. A HUGE thank you to Jessica Freni of Cottage Charlies for this opportunity to be included on such an exciting breeding.

The bitter cold of New England left us sitting home most of the winter, though spring came and Cedric hit the ring 🔥HOT🔥

In his only 2 appearances this spring Cedric has garnished:
• Owner Handled Group 1 (thank you Mr. John Ramirez)
• Toy Dog Specialty Group 3 (thank you Mr. Richard LeBeau)
• Group 4 (thank you Mr. Gus Sinibaldi)

Cedric will continue his Specials career being shown selectively as we now watch the growth of his two very promising sons. Which brings us to...

Welcome Nox (Cottage Accio! Lights Out) and Snitch (Cottage Accio! Snitch, Please!) to our home! I could not decide which boy to keep from our Cedric litter, so chose the easy answer... keep both! Nox (King Charles) reminds me much if his father in personality and Snitch (Ruby) has absolutely beautiful breed traits that excite us. Both are beautiful boys and I feel beyond blessed to have in my home and for the future of Accio!

Outside of puppies and show ring news, on April 30th we are proud to announce we have 🌟 THE FIRST OFA BOAS TESTED ENGLISH TOY SPANIELS IN THE UNITED STATES 🌟 Both Cedric and Lupin clear for EVERY sign of BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) with final grades 0/4 (PERFECT!) Thank you to Dr. Elizabeth Rozanski (Tufts University) and Dr. Maryanne Mack (Feeding Hills Veterinary Clinic) for the opportunity to be part of this study! We have officially made new breed history, and gained knowledge to better our breed 💪🏻

Thank you to the amazing clubs for their hospitalization and fantastic judging panel. This was some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Happy to end our 2022 show season on such a high note!

I’m so incredibly proud of how quickly baby 🐺 Lupin is figuring out how to be a show dog! Free stacking, wagging his tail happily, and a topline like uncle Cedric that could hold a glass of 🍷
Lupin was Best of Variety (B&PC) x2️⃣ this past weekend! Huge thank you to my partner Kathleen for also helping handle ❤️ And to for this amazing little man! You should be so proud! 🌟

Sometimes I am lucky enough to get the pleasure to show for my friends! This adorable black Pomeranian was bred by my great friend (Karen Finley) and is owned by Tiffany S’Kalas. Two weeks ago in Greenfield, MA, I piloted “Rou” to 2️⃣ Major Wins and finishing her AKC Championship! 🌟 Pending AKC approval, introducing Coventrys Always Bet On Black CGC TKN. Thank you ladies for allowing me to show this beautiful girl, and congratulations to all! 😍🌟🏆
