Hello Kind People! I was at doggy camp. It was A-OK and my parents watched me sometimes on video. Then I came home. It has been super hot. Mom washed Rainbow Maggie's Croozer Mini, and now I have my own special way to go from inside, down the drive and sidewalks, to the cool grass. I will share a photo soon. At night, Mom rubs my tummy and I fall asleep on the couch until it is time to go to bed. Mom and Dad are happy, their team won!
I hope you are okay.
Love,
Annie

Happy Easter, Kind People! The Easter Bunny brought me a squeaky, wing-flapping mallard!
Dear Kind People,
Sometimes it takes a while for Mom to upload my ideas here for you to see. Like, from July to January! But, she pointed out, maybe on this cold January Saturday (or warmer, if you do not live in the North), it will be a heart-warming video to watch! And here's the story...
On the last Sunday in July 2023, Mom and I were taking a walk. Her heart was heavy, I could tell. In June she was in the ER with a loved one and an important specialist appointment was coming up in a few days. No one told me this, you see, but I can always tell when something happy, sad, tense, funny, or relaxing is going on in our house. Anyway, we were walking along in solidarity when we noticed many chairs and people outside Plymouth Church. And, we heard beautiful music: a voice and a guitar. We couldn't see everything well, but the sound carried over to us. We stopped in the shade of a tree to listen. I sniffed the ground, because I can multitask. A man nearby was doing lawn work. We noticed he stopped to listen, too. Mom loved it so much, she set her phone to record. Later she looked up the song, "Take off your old coat..." Personally, now that it is winter, I can tell you I do not like wearing a coat, but sometimes life is warm and sometimes it is cold and it's probably best to be prepared.
Anyway, Mom asked Plymouth Church if she could post this video on my page and they said, yes, which was very kind of them. The music was a comfort to Mom, which brings me to this next part. I'm not going to be able to post for a few weeks because someone in my family is having surgery and we have to "stay focused" on "being present with them" and "creating a healing environment." I"m not sure what all that means, I just want to sit next to them, maybe kiss their hand or face, and let them rub my fur. But Mom says that though dogs do have magical powers, doctors do as well and they have lots of rules. No dogs in the hospital unless they have a special license. Why Mom did not get me t
Hello, Kind People! I am home from doggie camp!
Dear Kind People,
I'm doing great at doggie camp, and am guessing it won't be long 'til Mom and Dad will show up. Then, I'll say goodbye to my pals and get lots and lots of hugs and kisses from Mom and Dad!
In the meantime, here's a snippet of video from my 3rd day in my new home, taken in March 2022. I was checking things out and shaking off old worries.
Love,
Annie
