SiAna had a difficult time while healing from her ear infection. She was not hearing well and things were startling to her. She just wanted to be close to Daddy. As you see in this photo from a few days ago, really close! She had no hesitation climbing from Daddy's lap to behind his neck. She was accommodated as best as possible. Her hearing seemed like it was starting to come back yesterday, but not my much. Daddy gave her a gentle ear massage last night and it improved a little more. It still is not too good, but enough for him to say "nose kiss" and SiAna jumps and gives him one and received a treat in return. As you might imagine, it is one less stressful thing. Plus, it looks like GrandPaw is going home from the hospital today! Thank You so much for your well wishes! Daddy saw a few, but haas not read all.of them yet.
Today is truly a Beautiful Sunday and we have a bit more normalcy. SiAna hopes all of her friends are having a Beautiful Sunday too and a good week ahead!

SiAna & Daddy do not talk about personal lives too much, but Daddy was at the hospital visiting GrandPaw at Good Samaritan Hospital . He has a procedure planned, will be ok and able to go home in a few days.
While visiting, something caught Daddy's eye and this cute bundle of fluff was walking in the hallway! SiAna would like to introduce her friends to therapy dog, Cooper. Daddy had to stop him and say hello! He chatted with his person a little and found out Cooper is 17 years old has been a therapy dog for nearly that long and is deaf. He and his person are members of therapy dogs international , a group some of SiAna's friends are members of too! It was so good to meet him and his person. And if course, Daddy showed them photos of SiAna. He does not have social media, so we can not follow him on his adventures.

SiAna has an ear infection update for her friends. 2+ weeks have pass and she had her recheck today with her veterinarian at Tama Veterinary Hospital . Her left ear, which was not too bad before, is cleared up! Her right ear, which was more advanced on the first visit, was much more healed, but still needs a little more time. Her doctor cleaned both ears and added more medicine to the right ear. Thank You so much , Dr. Dickson % Staff! ♥️♥️♥️ SiAna's hearing did come back most the way, but started to reverse again this past weekend. Daddy is still hoping it will return to normal after this treatment. He will be able to tend to SiAna more now that cherry season is over.

SiAna wanted to check in this weekend. Many of her friends know it is the busy cherry season. Things have been busy! It is likely due to the "competitor" UPick cherry farm needing to close for a few weekends because their cherry orchards not having any cherries. Daddy has served nearly 3 times as many customers as last year! The on site parking lot was constantly packed and customers were parking far down the street. On a sweet note: One staff member brought Daddy a coffee and fancy pastry last Sunday for Father's Day on SiAna's behalf. She follows SiAna and enjoy all her fun posts. It was a very sweet gesture and no one has ever brought Daddy a coffee before. SiAna thanks Ms. "B" so much for doing that for her! ♥️🐶☕
In other news, SiAna received a full brush out early last week in anticipation of a bath. But when Daddy was brushing out her ears, he noticed she had some residue in her ears. It would explain why she has been shaking her head a little a few days prior. An appointment was made right away to see her veterinarian on Thursday evening. The evening before her visit, her hearing was not very good either. SiAna's veterinarian determined that she had an ear infection and is now being treated for it. SiAna's hearing has not quite returned yet, but Daddy is remaining hopeful because it is likely linked to the infection and build up. Plus, she has a medicine in her ear to help with the infection that stays for 2 weeks and that might be blocking her earring right now too. Since she has medicine in her ears, a bath will have to wait now. But a bath will also have to wait because Daddy was injured on Wednesday. He cannot stand long enough to give her a bath. He does not want to give details for legal reasons. But, he hopes he will be feeling better soon. As SiAna's friends will see in the photo, SiAna & Daddy are keeping their spirits up. SiAna says, "Daddy, are you done helping Grandpaw with everything? His house is not my favorite place... He doesn't have any treats!" 😂🐶♥️ Daddy should check the stock of treats he keeps in the car. He does not keep much so they stay fresh. Right after SiAna got home, you know she got to have lots of treats!
This is going to be one of the years busiest weeks ahead. Daddy is getting ready for his cherry season to open this Friday and is working all the final details. SiAna will be home resting. We are also thinking about the best way to maintain her medication schedule. If her friends remember, these are the weeks we usually take a little break from social media too. SiAna & Daddy have silly looks because they are in such disbelief in where they are in the photo. You can tell there are dog toys. For many years, they have been envious when seeing so many of their doggie friends at the sister stores of TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Marshalls. None of those stores allow dogs in SiAna & Daddy's area. One day, Daddy & Auntie were at her local Marshalls and noticed there were quite a few dogs in the store and asked a staff member about it. Her reply was, "it is Santa Cruz; everywhere is dog friendly" and invited Daddy to bring SiAna in next time. When leaving Auntie's a few weekends ago, SiAna & Daddy had the chance to stop! Daddy felt like he was breaking the law! 😂 SiAna was carried just the same and it was a quick trip to pick up a few treats.
It will be a busy week ahead with a few things happening and Daddy is in the final countdown to cherry season! SiAna hope everyone had a Beautiful Sunday and a good week ahead too!

SiAna has some very good news to share! Her heart and lungs are still really strong, no wheezing or sounds that should not be there. She is responding really well to her medication and in fact, it is likely the reason for the fantastic news of her heart murmur being downgraded from a 4 to a 3. That is the science part, but Daddy would like to think part of it is all the prayers too! She will be going back in a month for a blood test to check her kidneys to make sure they are still functioning well in the diuretics. And her rechecks has been changed from 3 months to 4 too. Daddy is doing all that he can to make sure SiAna remains health as possible and Dr. Block and the entire staff at Apex Veterinary Specialists continue to be wonderful to work with, thoroughly addressing all the issues and Daddy's questions and communicating very clearly at every step. A really big THANK YOU goes out to them!

SiAna knows her friends will recognize this area rug. She spent the night at Auntie's house! We have been to Auntie's every weekend or at one point during the week since about mid March. This weekend, we were visiting to attend Mass that was being said for Daddy's Grandpa in honor of his birthday tomorrow. We had a really nice visit, but will be on our way back home soon. With summer coming, we are not sure when we will be back as the beach traffic can get really bad.
SiAna has a cardiologist appointment for tomorrow afternoon and we are hoping for good news. We will update after the appointment. The rest of the week will revolve around planning for cherry season. As always, SiAna wishes her friends a Beautiful Sunday and a good week ahead. She loves you all very much! ♥️🐶♥️

SiAna is celebrating National Therapy Pet Day. "Staff" got the photo wrong and posting late! She will let it pass since she knows staff had a few of "those" kind of days. She is thinking of all her fellow therapy pet friends that do all the doggooding too!
