SiAna invites her friends to join her in lighting the candle for the third week of Advent: The Pink Candle. She missed lighting the candle last week, but she could not miss the candle this week. It was always a special candle to Daddy because it always meant more candles that week.
There is not much planned for this week, but there is increase anticipation for the festivities of next week. Daddy hopes to figure out what he will be making soon. SiAna knows many of her friends are very busy getting ready for next week too. As always, she hopes all her friends are enjoying their Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna has two of her Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services team members joining her to say hello today. We will have to skip the second lavender candle of Advent because Daddy did not think ahead and just got home from a long and earlier day. But, the second candle is burning in our hearts.
This will be a busier week ahead with a therapy visit tomorrow and a family visit later in the week. Wishing everyone a pleasantly busy December and not overwhelming. Hope everyone has been having a Beautiful Sunday! ♥️🐶♥️

SiAna wants to preemptively let her friends know that our area did not feel the big California earthquake about an hour ago because we are far away from the epicenter. We are not at risk for a tsunami in our area and Auntie is too high up at the coast to be worried too.

SiAna is marking the first Day & First Week of Advent. She lit the first purple candle today and will continue every Sunday until Christmas! We will do our best to feature other exciting things other days of the week too. After a busy week, this one looks like It might be quiet. As always, SiAna wishes all her friends a Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna is joining her friends today with what looks like a familiar photo and taking stock in a moment of humility and what is important in life, because truly, it is the little thing. REALLY IMPORTANT MESSAGE AHEAD: We say her friends might remember a similar moment from sometime in 2018 or so. A hot water heater had to be replaced. Our plumber left about 45 minutes ago after installing this new one SiAna is featuring today. In the midst of so many people around the USA shopping for bargain on gifts, we had to spend money on something practical.
We have been without hot water since early Tuesday, but did not realize it until late Tuesday evening. Daddy did not have a hot shower for Thanksgiving day and SiAna did not have a "hot" bath either after really being in need of one. But, we did not complain. We took stock of what we had. We still had clean running water. We still had a warm house and roof over our head. We did not have to worry about not having food. We did not have to worry about not being safe. And SiAna & Daddy had each other! There are people all over the country with even less. It was a good moment at this time of giving thanks to step back and really be thankful for the important things we have. We are thankful to have a new hot water heater, a very honest and good plumber and some good neighbors that helped to lift the old and new hot water heaters up and over the forced air heater unit. We might not have a fancy car, a big house, go on fantastic vacations, but we do have hot water; that is saying a lot. SiAna sends her love!

SiAna & Daddy wishes all her friends a Very Happy & Beautiful Thanksgiving. All of you are so special to us and we are thankful and fortunate to have all of you as our friends! Daddy was put in charge of making some cookies. He knew SiAna & her doggie cousin could not be left out and made some doggie cookies. All of them loved them! If you look close, you can see they are doggie prints! ♥️🐶😍

SiAna would like to share what we are calling an "archived" photo today. Quite honestly, an archived photo is either a photo we forgot or accidentally got bumped down the list from moving photos to the SD Card for more internal storage space. This is one that got bumped. It was taken back in the beginning of October when SiAna & Daddy went to visit Auntie and attended Mass. We love it because Auntie is bringing some seasonal colors to the photo.
Like many people here in the USA, it is quite a busy week for SiAna. She has two therapy visits and a bath is scheduled too. That is on top of Daddy making a few tasty things for the families Thanksgiving dinner. And this year, SiAna & her dog cousin are not going to be left out of having a seasonal dessert! We will be sure to share the special treat on a later day.

SiAna is thrilled to share one of the big projects Daddy has worked on over these past few weeks. After getting brushed out on the floor for a few months, to a small folding table for almost 9 years, she FINALLY has a proper grooming table!!! It is actually a sewing table that meet all the requirements Daddy wanted. It has plenty of storage drawers, a fold out table that can be raised or lowered, it has wheels so it can be easily moved, there is enough space on top(when the table is dropped) for supplies at the ready without being in the way and with exception of the bottoms of the drawers, it is solid! The lamp clips on without being wobbly. The drawers and fold out table can be assembled on either side too. The only down side is that it is a little high and Daddy will need to sit on some pillows or find another method to raise himself a little higher than what the chair goes so his arms are comfortable and not get fatigued. A towel keeps the table clean while it makes the table soft & comfortable for SiAna and a gripping shelf/plate liner under the towel makes it safe from sliding around.
Daddy was looking every few months for the perfect table, but nothing was right. That was until he was on the JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores web site last year and this table just happened to be featured. It is the SullivansUSA Portable Sewing Table and retails around $100, depending on sales. Since it is a bulky and heavy package, there are freight shipping charges. It was also a big job to put together. It took about 5 hours when carefully following instructions. Daddy knew it was going to be a big task to assemble, which is why although he knew it would help, he put it off for nearly a whole year! He needed the chair too, which you see in the back and SiAna featured a few months ago. As you can tell. SiAna is more than ready to make use of the table and will be getting a brushing this evening.
There are still plenty of projects that need attention this week. Are any of SiAna's friends working on a special project? She is sure her friends here in the USA are starting to get prepared for Thanksgiving! Yum... Can not wait! As always,.SiAna wishes her friends a Beautiful Sunday! ♥️🐶♥️

SiAna always loved this photo with her Uncle Fred. He was her special Veteran. He is now with us in spirit as we continue to honor him and all of his fellow Veterans on this Veterans Day! Thank You!!!

SiAna is wearing her Americana bandana and taking some special time today to visit her favorite veteran, her Uncle Fred. He was in the Army from July 1944 to August 1946 and in the Philippines. She honors him today, but also her FB friend and family of friends who were in the military. Thank You! 🇺🇸👍😊

SiAna wants to introduce Daddy's Godmother to her friends. Her name is Judy and she is a First Cousin of Daddy's Mom. Her Dad and Daddy's Grandpa are brothers. She is also a Goddaughter of Daddy's Mom. She has always been so good to Daddy and she adores SiAna too. When they were having lunch two Saturdays ago, SiAna sat on the bench right next to Judy and SiAna was more than happy to get little tastes of food from her. They all had such a good time together and there will be more visits in the future.

Things have been so busy around the house with Daddy working on projects and organizing things. As of this posting, SiAna is on Daddy's lap making sure she gets some attention while he has a little break before he starts up again. Although there is still much more to do, it is over half way done and he can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for now. SiAna can not wait to show everyone something that he worked on for her too! Until then, SiAna hope her friends have been enjoying the special Veterans Day Weekend & having a Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna was so excited to have lunch with her cousins a few weeks ago. SiAna does not care much for regular dog activities, but going out to lunch is a favorite activity! She already introduced her friends to Diesel in a video. She wanted to introduce you to Karen, standing next to Daddy & SiAna and her daughter, Reneé, who is seated. Karen is married to a first cousin of Daddy's Mom, making Reneé & Daddy second cousins. In our family, all the second cousins are close and we celebrate all the big holidays together. It was so nice to have a visit and catch up on a regular day.
This is a busy week ahead with lots of activities happening around the house. There are lots of things Daddy is trying to organize and declutter and other projects in the works. A little someone will be an excellent supervisor. SiAna hopes her friends are having a Beautiful Sunday! 🩷🐶🩷

SiAna wished her friends a Happy & Safe Halloween!!! 🎃👻🖤 She is showing off the treats she has been enjoying for two weeks. They are from Bocce's Bakery and they are delicious! Bocce's Bakery has fun names for their treats too. The one on the left is Bananas & Scream, which are a crunchy Banana & Pumpkin treat. The one on the right is Zombie Bites, which are a soft Peanut Butter, Pumpkin & Carob treat. The festive photo frame is just covering the dog zombie paw emerging from the ground! Spooky! SiAna loves them both! Hope you all enjoy your evening, have a few favorite treats and not get too scared like Daddy did a moment ago. A big cat pounced on the roof and made a big bang. He jumped! 🤣🤣🤣

SiAna says, "in October, I wear pink!" 🩷🩷🩷 Her friends might have noticed at the beginning of the month her profile logo changed to her pink ribbon profile logo for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is really important to SiAna; especially Daddy, to celebrate, bring awareness and remember. Many close family, friends and quite a few social media friends have been affected in one way or another. Daddy even drove his Grandma, who meant the world to him, to her weekly treatments over 20 years ago. It was a success and helped her reach her 97th Birthday! Cheers to everyone who are fighting the good fight, those who won the fight. those who fought and we had to say a temporary goodbye and those who in any way have helped everyone through their battle.. You are all though of.

SiAna & Daddy had such a fantastic day out & about yesterday! It was a special milestone trip too because it was the farthest North SiAna & Daddy have been together since she first came home with him 9 years ago! They were about an hour north of where they live. In that time , they have only been able 90 minutes South too
First, it was lunch and a good visit with Daddy's Cousin/Godmother and her Daughter In Law and then it was off to one of his friends living in the area. It was a really long day, but it was perfect weather and there were lots of things to see too. That included this wall of wings for people to pose with. SiAna & Daddy did their best to give a good pose.
