SiAna was at the library staff visits earlier today. Of course, she always gets a reward when she gets home. She knows her friends enjoying seeing her receive her cookie. In a rare instance, Daddy asked her to speak for her friends and she does not disappoint! Good little girl! ♥️🐶♥️

SiAna says, "hurry up with the photo, Daddy, so I can have some of your breakfast!" Ha, ha! It was a quick shot and she had her taste right away! But, that look on her face is EVERYTHING! 😆♥️🐶 She is headed to the grooming table later this evening for a good brushing in anticipation for her two therapy visits this week. Those are the only big plans she has. SiAna hopes everyone has a good week ahead and enjoyed their Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna enjoyed visiting her Cousin Diesel & the rest of the family a few months ago. Diesel's Mom, Reneè, is a big, BIG, Disney fan and she has a few "Easter Eggs" around the house. For example, this is the one in the living room along the baseboard. The inset photo shows Mickey & Minnie heading into their mouse hole. Isn't it cute? 😍♥️🐭 We love seeing it every time we visit!
SiAna does not have anything planned for the week. Of course, there are lots of projects Daddy plans to work on. SiAna hopes her friends have been enjoying their Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna apologizes for missing everyone on Sunday. During Winter, SiAna likes to spend a little more time in bed, even after Daddy gets up. She gets herself out of bed about 30 minutes later, ready to start her day. Daddy makes sure she has some blankets over her since the house is "cold" in morning, but is never bound in them. She is usually asleep with her eyes closed and snoring very sweet and quiet, but she has her eyes open and ready for a photo. Some plans SiAna had for the week have been changed and it will be very quiet. She hopes her friends have a wonderful week ahead!

SiAna had intended to post something else today, but with what happened in New Orleans in the early morning hours, it will have to wait until tomorrow. Daddy woke up at about 3:30am and discovered the heartbreaking news on the television. SiAna & Daddy sends their love to the people in New Orleans. As many of SiAna's friends know, we have a heart connection to the city and the state of Loui(SiAna). Everyone on Daddy's Mom's side of the family immigrated from Italy through the port with Daddy's Grandma's side of the family setting there for a few generations before making their way to California. His Great Grandma was born and raised there and despite moving here in her late teens, never lost her New Orleans accent. His Grandma lived there for a time when she was really young when her Dad was working at the port on the banana boats. Daddy's Mom lived there for a while when she visited and decided to stay in the mid 1960s. Be strong, New Orleans!

SiAna has been having an ultimate Lazy Sunday today. She lounged on the bed until Daddy finally said it was time for her to get up. She rested the whole day on the couch or in Daddy's lap. She had extra treats today. Sounds like the ultimate life! Daddy took part too with all aspects of this post! 😆 Not much planned for the week. Ringing in the New Year will consist of lounge ware, watching the celebration on TV, hearing all the fireworks (which SiAna tolerates well) outside and a nose kiss at midnight! SiAna hopes everyone has been having a Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna is feeling very special today. It's her 11th BIRTHDAY! 🎂😍🎉♥️🐶 Happy Birthday, Little One! It will be a quiet celebration this year. We will uphold the tradition of having pizza and SiAna will have a little taste of cheese. She will have a little taste of prime rib too! SiAna was allowed to sleep in this morning, received lots of cuddles & lap sitting and there continues to be plenty of treats too. Cheers to many healthy & happy years to come!

SiAna would like to acknowledge a very important day for the family. The family still marks special days and remembers loved ones who have passed. As many of her friends know, Daddy's Mom passed away many years ago. Today, Daddy & Auntie visited Daddy's Mom (Auntie's younger Sister) for what would have been her 80th Birthday. After, they had a simple, but fancy lunch at one of the local Eataly restaurants. SiAna would have joined them, but dogs are not allowed at either location, which is ok.

SiAna waited until after sunset our time to wish all her friends a very Happy Hanukkah! We welcome this season of light and the miracles! She lit the first candle on the menorah for the first night. She especially thinks of all her friends celebrating over the eight nights!

SiAna would like to wish all of her friends a very Happy & Merry Christmas! Daddy too! They spent the night with Auntie and had a quiet Christmas morning and will be back on the road home soon to continue a quiet day.
SiAna has a funny story from her Christmas Eve celebration with the family last night! Daddy & Auntie were going to Mass and Daddy's cousin that was hosting Christmas Eve graciously agreed to watch SiAna. Daddy went to get SiAna's playpen out of the back of the car and left the back of the car open because he was going to be right out. When he came back, Cousin Diesel was behind the car seemingly to be licking his lips. Can you guess what happened? Cousin Diesel got into a few of the appetizers Daddy brought and over half of the appetizers Auntie brought! Both were covered tight in foil and he tore right through them! A moment of shock quickly faded into laughter and the creation of a brand new Christmas memory! 😆♥️🐶 The evening continued with lots of love, laughter, visiting with family and a big spread of food, including ravioli and sausage. SiAna will join everyone close to sunset our time for another post.

SiAna is late today, but still managed to get the candle lit for the 4th week of Advent. She is sure things are getting busy for many of her friends now. She wanted to take a moment for the family of one of her dearest, sweet friends who went to heaven and will not be with her family for the first time this year. To honor the friend, SiAna is wearing one of the bows she sent her for Christmas many years ago.
SiAna hopes her friends have been having a Beautiful Sunday and are looking forward to a wonderful week ahead.

SiAna invites her friends to join her in lighting the candle for the third week of Advent: The Pink Candle. She missed lighting the candle last week, but she could not miss the candle this week. It was always a special candle to Daddy because it always meant more candles that week.
There is not much planned for this week, but there is increase anticipation for the festivities of next week. Daddy hopes to figure out what he will be making soon. SiAna knows many of her friends are very busy getting ready for next week too. As always, she hopes all her friends are enjoying their Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna has two of her Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services team members joining her to say hello today. We will have to skip the second lavender candle of Advent because Daddy did not think ahead and just got home from a long and earlier day. But, the second candle is burning in our hearts.
This will be a busier week ahead with a therapy visit tomorrow and a family visit later in the week. Wishing everyone a pleasantly busy December and not overwhelming. Hope everyone has been having a Beautiful Sunday! ♥️🐶♥️

SiAna wants to preemptively let her friends know that our area did not feel the big California earthquake about an hour ago because we are far away from the epicenter. We are not at risk for a tsunami in our area and Auntie is too high up at the coast to be worried too.

SiAna is marking the first Day & First Week of Advent. She lit the first purple candle today and will continue every Sunday until Christmas! We will do our best to feature other exciting things other days of the week too. After a busy week, this one looks like It might be quiet. As always, SiAna wishes all her friends a Beautiful Sunday!

SiAna enjoyed having lunch with her Cousin Diesel this past Friday. The staff at the restaurant were so good to both of them and brought them their own water bowls right away. Daddy's cousins had not been out in public with SiAna before and they were tickled by the attention she received. Diesel received his share of attention too! If was a really nice day to be out and we really enjoyed the company. SiAna has a few activities ahead this week with one of them being a therapy visit. SiAna wants to tell her friends about one of her therapy visits. This is only one example. It is at the library where she visits the staff. When she is at the retirement home, the people are already gathered around. We were early and it was a good opportunity to get a video with no one else for privacy reasons. Today is the Little Italy Festival here in San Jose. SiAna's friends will remember she visited last year, saw all the fancy Italian sport cars, heard some good music and Daddy introduced everyone to Sfingi, an Italian version of a sort of doughnut. We had planned on attending, but too much traffic and a really hot day prevented us this year. It looks like it will be a quiet week ahead and hopefully, it will remain that way! SiAna has a cute, but somewhat shaky video to share with her friends today. Sunday is always breakfast day! Of course, SiAna usually gets a taste. Daddy's favorite part is when she gets the last few tastes because it calls for nose kisses! She is especially exuberant when it comes to something really tasty and it shows in her tail and those generous kisses! We had a Joe's Scramble, a local favorite created here in San Jose/San Francisco. It is usually ground beef, mushrooms, onions and spinach with a few eggs scrambled into it. Today was one of the variations with Italian Sausage making it an Italian Joe's Scramble. And no. SiAna did not get any onion or mushroom. Has any of SiAna's friends heard of it or try it? We are sure a few of you have! We have mentioned it before too. It is a quiet week ahead, but as always, there are always a few projects in the works. SiAna sure loves her cookies! She gets one after breakfast and one after dinner. Although she does not have many teeth, the crunchy cookies from Bocce's Bakery are still easy to chew. A bonus of the video is one of her loudest barks! 🤣🐶♥️ Later on today, SiAna will be getting a good full brush out. It is in anticipation of a busy week ahead with two therapy visits. Of course , she will get her cookie after those visits. Other than that, there is not too much happening. SiAna loves getting attention at her therapy visits! This is a video from a few months ago at the Milpitas Library. It was "forgot about" at the time and not shared, but rediscovered today. SiAna just finished her therapy visit. The lady she was visiting on the video really enjoyed her company and was continuously grooming her with her fingers. The lady just wanted to make sure SiAna could see ok with all her long hair. You can even hear her mention it. #TherapyDog #TherapyVisit #SiAnaLittleDoggooder
