Meet Sheba, everybody!
She is super friendly and affectionate. She loves being petted, and if she hasn’t seen you in a bit, she’ll want to catch up and see how you are doing. She’s a very vocal girl and will tell you all the latest gossip, but her voice is so tiny that you’ll swoon. If you sit, she’ll hop right up on your lap to purr and snuggle, but she’s not an attention hog, and after a while she’ll go about her day, checking back in on you from time to time.
Sheba has long, Persian hair, and being brushed is her little slice of heaven. She’ll roll on her back so you can work on her tummy and under her arms, and she’ll show you how much she loves it by making biscuits in the air.
Sheba is active and interested in things, but not hyper. She really enjoys chasing string, and that darn laser dot drives her absolutely bananas! She doesn’t seem to frighten easily, and is pretty chill and confident.
She likes both women and men, and we hear that she’s good with kids too. Sheba lived with another cat, and they just ignored each other. We don’t know how she’d do with dogs. She has always been an indoor cat. She has all her claws, but she’s very polite with them, and hasn’t scratched her foster parents or any furniture. And she’s got perfect litter box habits, which is always a plus.
At 6.5 fluffy pounds, Sheba is just a little girl. She sneezes more than the average cat, and although we don’t know why, the vet hasn’t been concerned about it. She’s 8 years old, and even though she’s had several teeth removed, she’s otherwise in good health. And having fewer teeth means more room for her tongue, which now tends to hang out in an adorably derpy sort of way. She is on a diet for sensitive tummies, and we have seen that her stomach does not like quickly switching to new foods, but whose does?
