My mom says I was sent from heaven - or at least from her dad in heaven (my Grandpa Jon). After he died, she wanted a dog, and when she went home for his funeral, and old friend from Jr. High posted pictures of me and my siblings who were born on the Winter Solstice, or “Darkest Night.” She says now she’ll never have a darkest night again, thanks to me!

After my birthday walk in the Christmas lights🎄I got my Day 21 Advent treat - which was actually my birthday presents!! 🎁🎂🦴💝

I got a delicious 🎅 treat and Chicken and Waffles treats from my Aunt Snackie!! 😍 And after I was assured there were no more 🦴 I obliged my mom by playing with my new 🫎 toy! (Note: action photo is blurry!) 😝

I'm pooped after all the treats and excitement today! Being eleven is a lot of work! 😴💤🐾🐾

You may remember Green Monster, who my Aunt Jaime bought for me when we came home from vacation... 💚 Well he disappeared yesterday... 😲 My friend Josie, who likes to "borrow" my toys from time to time went into my house and took him home! (There may or may not have been a friendly game of tugs before she left.)

My mom and I had a plan and it worked perfectly - after a quick emergency surgery to re-attach his arm. 😬 And now Josie has a new Santa toy that she loves!! Win-win!! 🎅🐾🐾💚

Warning: slide 4 could be upsetting to young pups! 😜

Day 19 was a delicious gingerbread man and I cronched him up all over the kitchen floor! 😋 I know I have to eat in the kitchen cuz my mom doesn't want me drooling all over the wood floors. 😁🤤 At least I do a good job of getting all the crumbs! 👍

Orvis's mom here... What can I say? He's a lab. 🐾🐾 And he's spoiled because he still manages to get a treat on the toy days of the Doggie Advent Calendar. 🦴 😁 But he's the best boy and deserves it. 🤎

He is also an expert trainer because he has his hoomans trained to give him treats - not just at home, but everywhere he goes. 😋🤤🤣

Day 17 was a crunchy and delicious 🎄!! But I was a little worried at first that it might be a toy....🧸🥎 I got a good pool of slobber on the floor, and then I waited for MORE but my mom said that was it... 😁😋🤤 It never hurts to try! 👍

We are late with this post cuz my mom was home late last night...but there's good news!! It was a yummy TREAT!! 🦴⭐🤤

I was so happy to smell it when my mom took it out of the cubby hole!! I monched and cronched it all over the floor - and there may have been some drool you can see in the video! 🤣🤤😁🐾🐾

I can't wait to see what I get tonight!! 😋

Well... Day 15 was a toy... but when my mom saw my face she knew she had to give me a TREAT!! 😁🦴😍

Don't get me wrong, I love my toys, but if you had to choose....🤤😋😜 My mom says I can't always get what I want, but I usually do! 🐾🐾🤎

I was so excited for Day 12 of my Doggie Advent Calendar Box... but it was another TOY!! A very cute, crunchy and squeaky marshmallow toy, but not an edible one! 😕🐾😬

So of course I have trained my mom to give me a treat anyway, and that's what she did!! 🦴🎄🎅

I sure have my hoomans trained well. 😜🤣😋🐾🐾🤎

Doggie Advent Calendar Day 10!! Guess what? There was a TREAT in the box today!! 🦴🤤😋🎄 Did you happen to catch the drool when I was eating?? My mom has to constantly wipe down the floor... I can't help it! I just get so excited!! 😁🤤😆

Not to complain or anything... but my Advent Calendar is great with one exception... It should have TREATS every day!! I waited for my hoomans to get home from their Christmas 🎄 party where I'm sure they had lots of TREATS 🍪 🍬🌮 only to find a BALL 🥎 in my calendar box! 😕😟😬 My parents saw the look on my face and gave me a treat - thankfully! Otherwise I may have gone to bed hungry. 😜

Day 8 of my doggie Advent Calendar/Box!! I was hoping for another treat - not that I don't appreciate the toys, but they just don't taste as good! 😜

This time it was a very delicious gingerbread man that even smelled like a gingerbread man, according to my dad... I don't really take time to smell them because I chomp them up very quickly! Don't mind the drool... 🤤😋🎄

Today was a fun day!! Santa came to our street in his firetruck, like he does every year! Of course he said I was a good boy once again. 🥰☺️🐾🐾🤎 I got my picture with him and then I got my day 7 Advent treat!! 🦴🤤🎄 Life is pretty good this time of year! 🎅

Day 6 wasn't the yummy treat I was expecting, but it was a cool spikey, squeaky ball! 🤩 Needless to say my mom still gave me a treat... 🦴 Cuz, well... I have her trained! 😁👍😜
