🌷 I hope you’ll all keep supporting me and my little business the way you always have — because I just signed a lease! I’ll be moving all my stock and extra supplies into a small storage space.
My family kicked me out — just kidding! But they did kindly ask for some space back, and I get it. 😅 I bought a lot of inventory when Joann’s closed down, thinking I could process it faster... but I definitely underestimated just how much I had. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough to float me until I figured out my next move, so I bought it all.
I’ll still be sewing from home, but now I’ll have added costs, extra organization, and more time spent running back and forth to get what I need to keep things going. It’s a new setup for me — I used to have a small shop space where everything was in one place, and I loved it. Sadly, the owner moved, I moved, and that space is no longer available (and everything else I’ve looked at is either way too expensive or just not safe to be alone in at night).
Still, I’m staying hopeful. I’m dreaming of the day we’re debt-free and I have a little space of my own again — maybe even a garage workspace with a wall of fabric, a big table I can move around, and all the room to create in peace where I'm not bothering anyone.
