This little welsch terrier has been with us for 2 weeks and is now able to go out in public and do “parking command.” Way to go Georgie😃🐾
This beautiful boxer was recently rescued from SPCA and entered our program a week ago. She has come a long way.😃🐾
Chance and I have a new dog project😃🐾
Chance and I have a new dog that needs our help. These turkeys were just a fun distraction as we continued to learn about our new client. More to come on this interesting dog situation soon.
The little things matter when it comes to your relationship with your dog. Everything becomes more enjoyable for you and your dog😃🐾
I wish we would’ve gotten a video of this girl at her evaluation. This does not look like the same pup. She is 5 months old and was claiming her owners, blankets, etc. She even tried to back Chance and I out of her space by coming after us. She has come a long way. Great job Ashlan😃🐾❤️
The other pup that came from Missouri.
Look how well she is doing with her “place” command, with all this stimulation 😃🐾
Dog from Missouri who was not a fan of people.
Going through Starbucks and did great so being rewarded with a pup cup. He is going to start to love going out now😃🐾❤️
This is the same dog that came in from Missouri with a muzzle on. We could not touch for a few days.
When he saw us in the car when he first got here he went crazy in the car trying to get to us. He was terrified of people so he puffed himself up in order to scare people away. Now going through a drive through, amazing work Ashlan.
New pup in from Missouri.
She is learning new skills here while staying with us.
Two dogs came to us a week ago from Missouri. This was his response first meeting us. Keep watching for updates.😃🐾
Absolutely amazing to see this 6 month old pup able to sit still inside Pet Place and More while stimulus is all around her. Amazing work Ashlan 😃🐾
This young, high strung pup has started to slow down and use her brain. Teaching a dog to wait for the food and back out of my space is exactly what my daughter taught this pup to do. Great job Ashlan😃🐾
After working this young pup playing fetch she can now focus better to wait to come in the door. Dogs should not just bolt through door in front of you for several reasons. This 6 month old pup could not focus to do this when she came to us.
This young pup has a brain and needs to work. So teaching her how to play fetch and bring ball back to us is one way to use up energy and work the brain.😃🐾
Pup has finished his bootcamp with us. He has come a long way😃🐾 #elkhoundsofinstagram #dogphotography #dogoftheday
So proud of this boy. Relaxed, happy, more confident and trust his handler.❤️🐾He gets a treat for not reacting but more importantly because he lowers his head and smells the air as they walk by. That is correct dog behavior instead of reacting first, trusting handler then smelling as they walk by. Dogs who react first are not using their natural instincts first because of their underlying problems which come from fear and insecurity which comes from not having owners taking control of situation for them.😃🐾
This insecure dog is doing fantastic. Now this is a great “place.” Look at the stimulation he has to deal with. What an awesome job Ashlan and Finn😃🐾
Building confidence in this dog. He was terrified to do anything we ask of him at first. Now look how proud he is of himself. 😃🐾
