I can also travel to you! Live, Life, Large training services.... Instead of doing basic dog obedience, Kathy teaches the dog using body language, energy and touch just like the alpha dog in a pack would in order to achieve a greater bond and understanding of the dogs mind in its relationship to man. This understanding allows owners to raise a dog with a stable mind by correcting their unwanted be

haviors in a language in which they will understand and respond to quickly. You don't need to have an issue.... you can keep one step ahead by learning how to raise a puppy with a simple visit so that you start on all the right paths before miscommunication occurs. AND if you have an issue, there has never been one too big that she can't read and help.

Known to some of her close friends and family as “The Dog Whisperer,” Kathy’s 15 years of experience training and rehabilitating anxious, aggressive, and seemingly uncontrollable dogs have given this animal lover the perfect touch of firmness and care when working with your beloved pet. Living on a 3.5-acre farmette on the outskirts of Littlestown, PA, Kathy has devoted her personal life and career to the compassionate and humane treatment of animals, specializing in horses and dogs.

Ashlan has been working alongside her mother for 3 years. Together they have travelled throughout the country working to train animals to heed their owner’s directions. They use a pack training technique that conditions owners to be the leader of their pack, using body language, energy, and touch to create a balanced and stable dog you can take anywhere.

Kathy and Ashlan’s methods are proven and achievable for any coachable pet owner. Wouldn’t it be wonderful for you and your dog to be able to go on a walk without either of you being dragged around on the end of a leash? Wouldn’t it be satisfying to be able to open your front door to guests without having to push away, hold back, or raise your voice toward your pet? Wouldn’t it be marvelous to be able to prevent your dog from barking at every car that pulls in your neighbor’s driveway? Whether your pet needs rehabilitated from an animal rescue or is wild as the result of improper training, Live Life Large trains you to develop a loving relationship with your pet while maintaining the appropriate predominate role in their world, making life simpler and easier for both of you!

If only we could get the majority of owners to understand this simple dynamic—we’d see far, far fewer troubled dogs and owners.

Of course, the challenge is that the small stuff doesn’t look like much, and so owners, quite understandably, often don’t respond to it appropriately.

But for skilled and experienced trainers, these small things are everything. And because we understand this so clearly, and are skilled at how to properly address these moments, we’re able to not only make tremendous progress, but we can do so—almost always—without having to address the big, fiery, ugly, and dangerous stuff.

Owners, on the other hand, let the small stuff go—for the reasons listed above—but then go after the big, fiery, ugly, and dangerous stuff… because it’s so obvious and clear. And by that point, it’s either become an incredibly tall mountain to climb, or it might even be a mountain you’re unable to climb.

Think about it this way. Kids who end up in serious trouble with their parents, and often the law, don’t start out as highly out of control, wildly disrespectful, and deeply troubled youngsters happy to make a tragic mess of their lives. They start out with small actions/behaviors/boundary pushing, and the way the parents respond—or don’t—is what determines who these kids become, and what their lives end uo looking like.

While some of the dynamics and details will obviously show up differently, overall as a concept/approach/strategy, it’s the same for your dog. Troubled kids and troubled dogs come from the same place—the place where the small, but profoundly important moments are either too much trouble, or seem too benign to address. And so given enough time and repetition, they become anything but small.

This frenchie has been with us for 10 days. He was reactive to people and dogs. He claimed people, toys and food. So seeing him another dog relaxing in public is amazing, but seeing him being able to not react to these kids is huge.

•Pet your dog, all the time
•Talk to your dog, all the time
•Allow your dog to follow you, all the time
•Allow your dog to be on your lap or laying on your feet, all the time
•Pet, soothe, comfort your dog when it whines or barks for attention...or is simply anxious
•Allow your dog to demand affection/interactions
•Be emotionally dependent on your dog to the point that unhealthy dependency and interactions are no longer noticed
•Allow your dog to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants—aka, provide no structure, rules, or accountability
•Foster an environment of chaos, stress, and anxiety
•Refuse to train and pattern calmness
•Refuse to crate train your dog
•Refuse to correct your dog when inappropriate behavior occurs
•Refuse to train your dog how to be independent/alone by using a “Place” command, “Downstay, and/or “away” time in the crate
•Let your dog out of the crate when it whines or barks
•Avoid training or anything that makes your dog temporarily uncomfortable or unhappy—in other words, cater to your dog’s every desire/need, designing your life around your dog, rather than having your dog fit into yours
•And many, many more...

Basically, baby, soothe, allow, enable, disable, lean on, omit teaching necessary life skills, prioritize what feels good for you rather than what does good for your dog, and through this master plan of leadership-free chaos, and systematic cultivation of creating a toxic dependency between dog and human...you’ll ensure that when you leave, your dog will be a true emotional mess, because you haven’t prepared them to be calm, obedient, strong, resilient, robust, independent, and alone.

This sweet soul has been with us a week. Anxious and in her head constantly. Today I walked her around the property for the first time because she struggled even to walk on a leash when she got here. Ashlan has done a great job with her. I was surprised at the progress. She is doing well but has a way to go until going home.😃🐾
