Purina foods, as well as quite a few other foods, are being reported to the FDA and pet food manufacturers as having caused dogs to present with vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and food refusal.

I don't put my trust in giant corporations. I prefer to research ingredients in pet food and educate myself as to what constitutes a healthy diet for my dogs and cats and make the best educated decision I can.

Years ago I fed my dog that extruded crap that comes in serving size cellophane packages. 😥 I feel terrible for doing that but I learned that it was horrible and I researched and began to make better choices. We can all do better and pet owners need to get serious and read pet food labels.

Whether it turns out that Purina, or any other dog food, has an issue we can all benefit from reading about the brand we feed.
