Sundog Training We area dog training/consulting company that specializes in service dog work and one on one pet train
(10)

Sundog Training started with a desire to share knowledge and skills with individuals to affect change in their daily lives. We formed this organization (Sundog Training, LLC) out of a desire to assist individuals by educating them and their dogs. Pet or working dog, every dog deserves to reach their full potential and every owner or handler should have someone to reach out to that can help direct

them. We saw individuals which needed extensive help and those that only needed a little guidance and someone to point them to the right resources. We wanted them all to have a way to accomplish their goals using positive methods and years of first hand experience. We have years of working in the professional animal care industry. From managing boarding kennels, training all types of working dogs, to working with exotics. It is our passion to translate our years of experience and knowledge into a training program specifically tailored to meet your needs.

As many of you know, last year, we held this egg hunt to help pay for Bell’s lymphoma treatments. A few days ago, we found out our dear friend Chip the corgi Was diagnosed with lymphoma as well. It seems fitting in honor of Bella that this year’s proceeds will all be given to Chip to help pay for his treatments. Chip and his family have been such strong supporters of the Manhattan dog sport communities over the years! Not to mention the joy a fluffy corgi butt running fast cat brings!
So……The doggie egg hunt is a go!
It’s a typical Kansas spring morning- and while it’s a little grey- it’s great treat hunting weather!
We have our open field and our barn getting set up and ready to go. While those golden eggs are disappearing into the woods for our super sleuths.
Please feel free to walk up 9-1 and we are ready!!

HELP WANTED at Sundog Farms!
Our groundskeeper is off to officer kindergarten, and we need a replacement for the semester ASAP! Excellent side job/after school job/ I signed up for too many hours this semester job- since you set your own schedule. Also willing to discuss hiring someone on a per job basis.
Hours vary wildly depending on the season- but for the remainder of August and September there will be a heck ton available as we are prepping for several events and making up for my laughable attempts to do it myself. In winter it may only be 5 hours a week.
Must be able to use/willing to learn to use w**d eaters, brush hogs, front loaders, and chainsaws, build rock walls, plant gardens, and dry stack a limestone water feature (and other stuff)
Absolutely MUST be able to work independently.
Duties include:
Building pallet fence, pulling w**ds, building stick fence, grooming hiking trails, and setting up obstacle courses.
Must love dogs
Starting pay $12/hr.
PM the page with questions or more details

Troop Rugged Mutts FAQ:
Can you use the same outing/activity for more than one patch?
No, you cannot use the exact same activity for the same patch. For example, if you hike 6 miles on leash, that can be your Trail Dog patch OR your Sundog 6K patch, but not both.
However, it's possible to do two patched concurrently. For example, Lycan went on a backbacking trip with his second favorite human this summer- the backpacking part contributed to his Trail Dogs and then he worked on his Pup Tent at night.

July's learning patch is BRUSH AND FILE!
