****** updating and turning off comments. Owner and I spoke on the phone. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who is very much loved but sprints for the door because he’s a con artist who wants to eat lol. Anyone feeding them is asked to please stop because they’re on a specific diet so they can live a long happy life. ☺️
In all seriousness, thank you to everyone who replied and shared the message. This was posted with nothing but love and now that we know they have a great home please let it be. Everyone has different preferences as far as indoor or outdoor pets, and we can leave that topic there. These pages are to help locate owners- not to debate, not to bash them, shame them, or tell them how to be a fur-parent. The kitty is healthy, clean, and happy with their family.
Also, yes they’re microchipped; fixed and have tried collars. They do NOT have fleas. The shaved tail is to help identity them as belonging in a family.

Please spread the word so we can reunite this found cat with its family! FOUND on November 30, 2024 in Woonsocket, RI 02895 near Robert’s street, Welles , CARRINGTON ave area WOONSOCKET RI
Message from Finder: o all- this very friendly kitty has been visiting me and I feed them daily (there are some ferals who already taken care of by me). I posted before seeing if they belong to anyone- and no replies.
However, now the cat showed up yesterday with its tail shaved in a peculiar way. It’s peculiar for many reasons, but also a different cat last year (that I haven’t seen in about 8 months) had the same thing- but also wasn’t also shaved like this. There’s no sign of stitches or injury to the shaved part.
Does this kitty belong to anyone? They’re so sweet and loving and I’m confused about why they’re outside but also why someone is cutting their tails in this way….

*side note before anyone attacks me- I’ve posted, checked the databases , contacted different orgs etc. I have done TNR for years . Please only helpful comments .
