💥‼️ WARNING for all dog owners & dog carers. Read on....
❄️ Winter is here and the roads are been gritted, if you walk your dog on gritted roads/paths please make sure that their paws are washed post your walks.

‼️ Every year hundreds of pets throughout the country become seriously ill and in some cases die because of the rock salt and antifreeze being used during the cold snap. Dogs and cats walk through the substances left by gritters trying to clear roads and car drivers defrosting their windscreens and then licking them off their paws.

‼️ Consuming rock salt can cause dehydration, liver failure and pancreatitis, while antifreeze contains the chemical ethylene glycol, which can be lethal when ingested.

❤️ Yesterday afternoon we had the privilege of being at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce to meet Dan Smith and Daniel Moores from STOKE AIR AMBULANCE to present the charity with a £200 donation which we won at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Let’s Do Business 2024 event last month.

❤️ We are so proud to be supporting a local charity and looking forward to getting involved further in this fabulous new charity in the future.

Sky and NOW have teamed up with Dogs Trust to launch a special pop-up TV channel to help keep dogs calm during firework season. The 'BonfireNight' channel, airing on Sky channel 310 from November 1-6, will feature soothing and entertaining movies curated just for dogs and their owners to enjoy together.
