A glimpse into the life of a foster family 🥹 Isn’t this the sweetest?
Pearl & Harmony are looking for their next big adventure in the Central Oregon area. Could you be their next special person? Our foster program is full support, meaning we cover food, care and farrier costs for up to one year.
Reach out to learn more and make a huge difference in the lives of these special girls!
It’s Devon! 🐎
This little whippersnapper is still looking for a few more sponsors to help with his feed and medical care 💙
Surrendered to us in January, Devon has Wobbler syndrome, a degenerative neurological disorder that can cause poor balance (we suspect he is blissfully unaware) ☺️ He’s so very friendly and affectionate and we have very quickly fallen in love with him.
You can make a huge difference in the life of this sweet boy with as little as a $10 tax deductible donation per month.

Maggie had a real case of the zoomies today! Not too bad for a Wobbler!

Last winter while romping her pasture, our lovely girl Black Pearl suffered a fright after slipping on an icy patch and hitting a tree. Pearl has Wobblers, a degenerative neurological disease and these incidents can occur as a result. We took immediate action and thankfully, she only walked away with a small cut on her head. This unexpected incident cost $1,000. This is Pearl the next day feeling much better ❤️🩹
With your help this Giving Tuesday, we can continue to provide emergency care to our equines right when they need it!

A while back, a volunteer caught this special moment between Java and Mocha 🥰 Could it be love at first sight? We weren’t sure Mocha would ever eat again 😆
Wanna hear some really great news?! 🥹 Lari has been adopted!
As you may recall, Lari was rescued this past summer in memory of a wonderful woman, Ania Wise, and has been fondly known at the ranch as Ania’s horse. Adopted by one of our very own in the Equine Outreach family, Lari will stay close to the ranch and in our hearts, and continue her legacy as Ania’s horse ❤️ Join us in congratulating Lari!
Our Sassy girl has an infection in one of her sinuses & unfortunately, conservative treatment at the ranch did not resolve it for her. She is currently hospitalized at Bend Equine Medical Center for daily sinus flushes through a portal in her sinus. The fluid is also being cultured so we can be sure she is on the right antibiotic to resolve her problem. This is a video of Dr. Findley performing the flushing procedure.
We are running a fundraiser to help cover this unexpected medical expense and get Sassy back to feeling her Sassy self. Any amount helps!

Toby, Casino, Blue, Paco and many more, Thank You for all the help you gave them this past year! ❤
In addition to regular medical maintenance like dentals, farrier, yearly vaccinations and worming, emergencies can occur that need immediate attention. Our Medical Fund is there for times like these.
There is still time to donate on Giving Tuesday. You can donate one of three ways, whichever is more comfortable for you!

For those of you following our girl Casino- she is still at the hospital but is beating the odds and doing very well! We are just so thrilled! Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and donations to her care. Now that she is stabilized we are turning our focus to trying to find the funds to perform the surgery she needs on her foot. Please consider helping if you can- we can’t tell you how happy we are for her to have come this far!
Why is Paco feeling so saucy this morning you ask??? 1) He is loving the effect of his joint injections that have him just floating like the fancy boy he has always been 2) He just found out his eye biopsy results were NEGATIVE for any cancer 3) HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! He will be going to his wonderful new home in the next couple of weeks! Yay for our best boy Paco!
Our boy Mocha has some complex emotions that we are just beginning to unravel but one thing is for sure, he loves one of our trainers Tom 💙
Pearl would like everyone to know there are intruders in her pen. Two scary crows who refused to leave! 🤣
Wasco says thanks for the watermelon on a hot summer day! 🍉🥰
