I have decided to publish this message to make people aware of the horrific byproducts of diabetes. You realize who are true friends or people who really appreciate you. Unfortunately, some friends will click "like" but they don't really take time to read your status if they see it's long.. The disease ruins your cardiovascular and renal systems... And the drugs, like metformin, that are prescribed, may encourage the onset of dementia. Now I'm looking for those who will have time to read this post to the end. Diabetes is very invasive and destructive to our body, even after treatment, and medications your body is still struggling with yourself trying to regulate the spiking/dropping of blood sugar levels all the time... It's a very long process.
Please, in honor of a family member or friend who has died, or continues to fight diabetes or even have diabetes themselves; copy and paste (not share) on your page.
So I'm gonna find out who reads my posts. Please write "done” in the comment.

I’m so proud of my Sonny. Today was his first day of donating blood through NAVBB. The blood he donated will save the lives of 4 dogs in need. He was the best boy, calmly giving with no fear. The technicians were wonderful loving young ladies.

Our good friends with the North American Veterinary Blood Bank will be back in our clinic this Friday the 10th! We host them every 2nd Friday of the month so they can collect blood from our brave canine donors! Check out their website to learn more about this amazing life-saving program! 💖

These two adorable puppies are looking for their forever family. Little “Chicken Nugget” on the left, is a female and “T-Bone” on the right is a male. They are a Viszla and Pitty mix, who were born on August 3. They can be seen at Sonny’s Place by reservation. They are being adopted through The Mount Vernon Rescue Group. Please won’t you consider making one of these babies part of your family.
