Beware of the frosty grass...

Our friends at Equinutrition have been discussing concerns about this weeks weather and it’s potential impact on sugars (water soluble carbohydrates - WSC) in the grass.
Sudden changes in the weather has seen the grass go from growing, to snow & frost covered in a short space of time.
This can increase the WSC with the grass, posing a risk to all those sugar sensitive horses and ponies, and increase the risk of laminitis risk.

🔍 **Responsibilities:**
- Daily horse care, grooming, and health monitoring 🐎
- Maintain a clean and organised stable environment 🧹
- Assist with scanning mares and hydrotherapy sessions 💦
- Collaborate with vets and farriers 🚑
- Exercise horses, with riding potential for the right candidate 🏇
- Must have experience and be confident with youngstock and stallion handling 🌟
- Work is at multiple yards

🎯 **Requirements:**
- Prior equine care and stable management experience 🏡
- Knowledge of horse health, nutrition, and basic medical care 📚
- Confidence and experience in handling youngstock and stallions 🤠
- Team player with excellent communication skills 🤝
- Flexibility for varying hours, including weekends 🗓️
- Riding experience is a bonus! 🌈
- Must have own transportation 🚗
