Recent rescue bun; diminutive SuzieQ, is fully recovered from her spay and has graduated to Cabuna 2. This absolute pocket rocket of a little bun is loving her big space. She’s been exploring, binkying, zooming, bossing the straw around and nomming ALL of the hay since she moved in. When she was rescued, SuzieQ’s feet/hocks were in appalling condition and she was very underweight. Living on a deep bed of straw and multiple layers of soft bedding over any hard surfaces ensures SuzieQ’s (previously Rosie) feet are protected and will continue to improve. In addition to this the correct portion of high quality pellets, access to piles of Meadow and Timothy hay and lots of room to exercise has seen her gain muscle and come up to a healthy weight. Happy days!
Honestly you’d never even know Rosie had had surgery … she did this happy flop last night - the same day as her spay 🥰
How wonderful it is to see a happy, settled little bun eating ALL the things as soon as she comes home from her desex!
Meet Rosie - the sweetest little girl that ever there was. Rosie was scooped up by a kind soul after having been dumped. Now that she’s in WW’s care this wee angel has been desexed, vaxed, & microchipped. Once she is fully recovered she will hop off to her new home, where her arrival is eagerly awaited.
Thanks @thevethouse_matangi for helping us to ensure another bun has a safe and happy future!
Mocha does THE best flops!
Here are Mocha and Layla demonstrating why I recommend Barley Straw as a floor covering for outdoor rabbits. Not only is it kind to their feet, it provides so much enrichment.
Mocha (rescued by me in 2019) and Layla are a senior, bonded pair who are seeking a forever retirement home.
