Great example of the effects of blue on yellow. Both does are recessive yellow. One is also homozygous blue. Sisters.

I had to outcross my recessive yellow group due to slow production I was worried i was going to lose them, so I picked some of my best marked pied does to pair to my yellow buck. I forgot that blue was also in my other pied line...so here we are lol but at least I have the gene still to work with.

At first I thought juat Lilac, but i am thinking I got a lilac agouti here. I see some ticking I will have to look closer in person...from my showtype/dominant hairless outcross project

2 of the first visual fuzzy bucks from my outcross project. The others ears aren't as impressive as these fellas but selective breeding will get them all there. Already better than the first generation pre outcross so we will see where they take me!

Up until this point I have been focusing on good coat with my fuzzy line over type. This girl is expecting. Hoping her offspring have good thick coats like her.

I also have 4 good coated girls in with my pew showtype buck. There is a silver, a dove, a blue, and a black (all selfs) in with him for 2.5 weeks now. Should be a good variety.
