The puppies are 2 weeks old today!!

Eyes are open and they are attempting to walk instead of scooting everywhere.

The puppies are growing fast. They are 10 days old now and their eyes are trying to open.
The puppies out grew their original color collars.

Started Early Neuro Stimulation today. Weighed all of them and they all gained. Glad Astrid has good milk!

They all look like they will be brindle. A couple started off, looking like they were black but after a couple of days now I’ve asked licking and cleaning on them they’re definitely brindle.

Well we got a couple of extra surprises.
Total is 10...5 boys and 5 girls. We lost one of the girls. She was ginormous and got stuck in the birth canal. But other than that, everything went very smooth. Astrid and her babies are resting and just watch for some of the fun videos we have in the future. Thanks for everybody’s well wishes!

Tilly did a fantastic job as this was her first time whelping a litter. She did it all! Now she has the knowledge to do this herself.
4 males, 3 females. 1 black male, 1 black female and the rest are brindle.
Weight biggest 13 ounces and smallest 8 ounces. Everyone has nursed and down for the night.

Look at our little Swayze representing us well! She is expecting to be a big sister any day now. We were very lucky to have Cait with her own drive and determination to help Swayze be the best she can be!

This sweet girl passed our board and train program back in June. Miss Ruby came in very pushy with other dogs and didn’t know how to just walk away. This caused a problem in the home with the other housemate. With proper communication with her, she has gone home with a better understanding.

No use in hiding this big dude! Blue boy is here for some environmentals and boosting his confidence in his choices. He might be huge (36” at the shoulder) but he’s scared of new things.
He’s been with us since Wednesday and is already becoming confident in his surroundings.
I love watching dogs learn not everything is scary and the world is an amazing thing.

I really need to tell all of you how lucky I am to have Chauntil Gillins Thain working for me! Tilly and I volunteer for Rocky Mountain Service Dog Project training service dogs for First Responders and Military Veterans. We don't get paid to do this, but we do it anyway because we enjoy the end results.
Tilly has spent the last year training PSD Nova for her job with a fire department in Colorado. And boy oh boy did she do an excellent job! I spoke with Nova's handlers today and they told me that Nova is doing her job so well.
Several times in the week Nova has been in Colorado, she has exceeded expectations. She is truly sensing the staffs energy and responding to it appropriately. Her handlers love what she has already walked in the place like she is an experienced pro at her job.
That wouldn't have happened if Tilly didn't do such a great job training her.
I thank the "Higher Power" daily for sending me someone that would learn, have integrity, excel always, and still have that soft side needed to do this job.
This is a volunteer job
Thank you Tilly for truly sharing your best with all of us!

A veteran is crediting his dog for making it possible for him over come his post-traumatic stress disorder, making it possible for him to graduate from Utah State University.

This is Meow. He needs a new home. He showed up several weeks ago in horrible shape. Starving, with a horrible respiratory and eye infection.

I nursed him back to health, got him neutered and he is ready for a home with a family.

He is not afraid of the dogs at all, wants to snuggle and clean your ears 🥹. My dogs tolerated him for a while but I can't guarantee his safety so it is best for him to go.

I spent over $600 getting him healthy, vaccinated, wormed and neutered. He will have a $200 adoption fee.

Check out this behemoth!! This is Sturgis, a 1 year old Cane Corso. He is here for a 3 week board and train.
While he is with us, he will be learning house manners, spacial awareness, environmentals and how to co exist with people and animals.
Once he gets to know you, he is the biggest love ever. Sturgis just needs to understand that not everyone wants to hurt him.
