In 2024, AC PAW issued 69 vouchers to pet owners and participated in spay/neuter clinics with multiple vets (helping an additional 39 owners). These efforts helped to spay and neuter nearly 200 dogs and cats. That may not sound like a lot, but that translates to thousands of animals that will not be born. Thousands of dogs and cats that will not end up in shelters and rescues or on the streets fending for themselves trying to stay alive.
AC PAW is proud to be doing its part in gaining control of the pet overpopulation problem that plagues our area. Too many dogs and cats suffer from abuse, abandonment and neglect every single day.
These photos are from a feline spay/neuter clinic with Dr. Amanda Zoerner, DVM with Pet Well Mobile Vet this past summer. She is amazing! We love working with her on these clinics. (Don't worry, those kitties are just taking a little nappy nap, waiting their turn to spay and neuter!)
Rescues are overloaded. Volunteers are exhausted.
Our goals for 2025 are to double the number of vouchers we issue - but more importantly to do many more spay/neuter clinic days with area veterinarians. If you know a DVM personally, please urge them to contact us about setting up a clinic.
Please help us continue on this ever-important mission. We cannot do it without you.
