"Splash"
If you are looking for an eye catching, good mover with a great personality this is the filly for you

2021, 14.2 3/4", grade, filly

Splash was a BC wildie and has been in domestic care since she was a weanling. She has had extensive handling, routine health care and excellent nutrition.

She is a lovely, ground covering, attractive mover, with very unique markings, a cute jump, and a lovely temperament. She has potential to go in a variety of directions including hunters/ jumpers, low level dressage, western general performance, trail riding, all arounder, future kids packer. A truly versatile package!

Recently started under saddle and currently going walk, trot and canter! She has already been on the trails!

Ties, loads, is lovely to have in the barn, stands to be tacked up, lunges, ground drives, stands to be mounted, stands for the farrier

Don’t let his age scare you, he has a ton of life in him!
This lovely gelding is looking for his own kid or family.
Safe, dependable, yet responsive and has get up and go if he is asked for it!
He has experience in barrels, pole bending, trail riding and he has been over a few jumps.

Our 5 stall lean to barn got a complete make over with various improvements last week including solid walls, auto waterers with a continuous supply of warm water, a table for above head feeding to lighten to work, and lighting.

"Fern"

A sporty mare with enough scope to take you far!

6 year old, 15hh, grade, mare

Fern was a BC wildie mare and has been domesticated for over two years. She has had routine health care, and excellent nutrition and lots of handling.

This sweet mare would be the ideal fit for someone looking to bring along a talented prospect. She is a good mover, very intelligent and has springs on her hooves. Incredibly scopey and brave to fences. We could see her going into the jumpers or eventing world and being an absolute blast to have as a partner.

Fern was recently started under saddle, lunges well, ground drives, loads, stands for the farrier, to be saddled and groomed, lovely to have in the barn!

Goes walk, trot, canter in the arena and on trails but she doesn't have much of an education in the arena. She was started and used on a ranch and has since been a trail horse/ pet. Used to pther livestock.

Now Booking for Spring 2025!

At Spa Alp Equines we strive to provide each horse an individualized program specific to each horse and owners requirements. We offer a variety of training services, from halter training, groundwork, starting, sales and our signature trail miles program.
All equines that come to our facility get a unique experience through the diverse environment they are exposed to. Our fully insured facility is located on a livestock farm on the Yankee Flats, above the Salmon Valley. The horses’ daily lives include exposure to all kinds of equipment, vehicles and animals including but not limited to goats, cattle, ducks, dogs, and chickens. All horses are ridden on their own, in pairs and in larger groups. Training environments include arena (indoor to accommodate all weather conditions and round pen, field and farmyard, as well as roadways with varying traffic levels. Our location also gives us access to miles of trails with varying difficulty and terrain. Obstacles encountered include rivers and creeks, puddles, lakes, logs, hills, loose ground, wildlife, bridges, and gates. Our focus with all the horses is creating a safe, soft and willing partner both in the arena and out on the trail. Each horse that is being started under saddle has their first few rides accompanied by a ground person to provide a safe and seamless transition from ground work to under saddle work.
Each horse is assigned their own stall with attached paddock. Other accommodations can be arranged by request. Quality hay is provided multiple times daily to ensure plenty of forage at all time as well as a custom whole feed program to ensure your horse thrives. All of our programs include use of back on track products, theraplate, and we work with a variety of professional therapists to ensure your horses success.
