"Constitution Day" was celebrated on November 26, 2024, at Biological Park Itanagar in a befitting manner. It was celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949.
The Constitution was drafted by the Constituent Assembly, which was formed in 1946. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, also known as the "Father of the Indian Constitution," played a pivotal role in its drafting. The celebration includes reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India by the staff of Biological Park Itanagar. This day serves as a reminder of the rights and responsibilities that citizens hold under the Constitution. It also promotes civic awareness, reinforces democratic values, and honors the vision of India's founding fathers.
