Isn’t this a gorgeous photo of Nitro ( Salisbury Super Trooper) and his owner Emily ( Clare Flynn).

Nitro was sold to QLD sight unseen as an unbroken 3yo gelding. Clare trusted in the process which can be challenging for buyers but after breeding and selling ponies for 35+ years i must be getting somethings right 😉 Clare broke him in herself ⭐️

His sire is Sanlirra Supernatural Dam Salisbury Baby Bella who is carrying on the Baby Doll ( Strinesdale Matador) dynasty.

Salisbury Princess Grace is having a super time with her new family ( Nicola Barnett Brett Barnett) with her junior rider Audra.

2 weeks back they again had a successful day out at Lillydale Show.

How brilliant is this.

A regretful sale due to my pending move interstate, time restraints and financial reasons, expressions of interest are available for this quality small Galloway mare.

Lady has a very bright future ahead of her with only just starting consistently showing last season and with each outing showed great improvement. She was professionally broken in and professionally campaigned at her first show. Always coming home with a broad sash, Lady is a competitive mount and in the right home has the potential to compete at the top. She competed on the weekend to take home Champion Open Ridden Galloway in the first ring.

Knowing Lady since she was 1 day old, we have founded a truly special bond. She is a super sweet natured mare with an incredible work ethic, quick learner, tries her heart out, powerful exquisite movement and the most petite and stunningly beautiful head with a genuine willingness to please.

A fun, inquisitive little personality, Lady is a favourite among many. She comes when called, easy to catch, shoe, float, groom, clip, wash, rug, etc.

She is adaptable to various disciplines turning her hoof to Dressage, Showing, trail rides in the bush and down the beach.

Lady requires a warm up, not a work down. 100% sound and totally drug free.

Most suited to a competent teen or small adult with established horse knowledge who wants a competitive small Galloway. Lady is not suitable to a beginner rider or home.

Lady is competing at Melbourne Royal this year and will be available to go to her new home post this event.

Price is indicative of a mare of this breeding and calibre.

Congratulations to the new owners of Salisbury Princess Grace.

It was not an easy decision to even put ‘Prinni’ on the market and it evolved more than anything.
I actually never had the intention in parting with her.
I have owned Prinni coming up 12 years when the deminitive little bay filly, who was down on her bumpers and required special ‘Dr Cam’ splints came into the world. She was an easy foal, easy to wean rug lead feet worm, unlike her mother who was my first foal bred and to put it simply a big learning curve for me.
In January 2018 when prinni was all of 5 plus years we delivered her to Kates place. First time off the property and testament to Prinni’s temperament she was out at Barastoc 2.5 weeks later in hand and won rosettes 🏵️
She stayed with Kate until December of that year and was started under saddle. She went on great adventures and was exposed to so much and was a star ⭐️
She then came back home to me. The next 5 years saw COVID my health being a headache but she was pampered, occasionally ridden and shown in hand. The good life like so many here at the farm. She also spent time at Caroline Fergusons in 2022 where Caroline took her bush, jumping, beach, it was a joy to see. Prinni was so easy but she needed more.
Fast forward September 2023. I had dropped Jessie at Kates to bring back into work. This was so successful we decided a similar plan for Prinni would be good.
Kate loved having her back. They were having so much fun together and really achieving things that i suggested to Kate she lease her. So she could take her out competing in the New Year ( 2024) and Kate be acknowledged for her hard work. They certainly did that from the get go, her first show Champion under saddle and it just continued that way. Dressage, jumping, what ever they turned their hand to was a success.
It was always our intention Prinni would come home to me. Unfortunately my life is very hectic at times, with a busy farm, family and study regime. My riding does take a back seat. I currently have two other ponies ( including Prinnis 1/2 brother) that i am trying to ride. Though my mojo is returning 🥂
So the decision was made to advertise her. As i said it evolved.
She is on to her next chapter. The ever adaptable, clever calm mare she is. I feel she is fully prepared to continue forging her way in the world and i feel very proud of her.
She was the 3rd generation of Chloe line i had ridden and to say i am proud is an understatement. From the humble beginnings of the first riding pony i bought some 40 years ago. Yes it doesn’t happen overnight ❤️
