Our Story
Four Feet Therapy evolved after I rescued two Miniature Shetland ponies (sisters) in June 2020 who had been neglected and abused. As a therapeutic coach and animal lover, I have been nursing these sisters back to health and it quickly became obvious they had many similarities to the clients I help.
I also knew that there was solid evidence about the magic of equine therapy and the benefits of animal assisted therapy so I subsequently trained in both animal and equine assisted learning and therapy, alongside a number of additional holistic treatment modalities to help animals themselves. I wanted to be able to offer these wonderful approaches to help people with both mental health and physical ailments.
Four Feet Therapy offers equine assisted learning and therapy with our two rescue Miniature Shetlands, Daisy and Bluebell, animal assisted therapy with our resident cat, called Ed, lessons on how to carry out pet therapy yourself at home, therapeutic coaching, aromatherapy and other holistic type products to help people evolve their challenges and move forward with their lives.
I’m also delighted to be an independent distributor for the superb ALVA Horse and Dog grooming products. These products are aloe vera based, natural and the results are outstanding. They are so good they have been approved by the FEI and for Crufts!
