Dr Todd came to see us today, HE GAVE US SHOTS, they hurt! Ruby was better than me.I fought the doc. He said I was very good looking

Do to losing our lower pasture to the last flood UGH, we had to downsize Bug n Ruby's paddock a bit...they aren'treal happy, but they re happy to have their sibs closer!

THIS IS MA~ I was so worried yesterday. Ruby got ice balls frozen into her hooves. That can happen with this weather, and if the time for farrier trimming is near, it is, next week. I got 3 of the balls picked out, but the 4th, no way.. locked them up in their stall last night, as even with Ruby's winter blanket, she was shivering. Went out to check them later one, she wasn't shivering, but that ice ball, ugh!
THIS MORNING... iceball was gone, YAY! and no shivering... Praise God... so they are free today, out and about, and I'll lock them up again tonight... oh the life of a farm girl and her babies!

Vet recommended, I got Ruby a winter blanket, since her own winter coat hasn't come in too well yet, and it's getting cold fast, isn't it cute? It will match her halter;

"Bug!!... leemebeee.... " Ruby is getting big! I ordered a blanket for her, she hasn't grown a thick winter coat too much yet...Bug has had a sore leg, Vet checked, can't find anything wrong...maybe just wanted some attention! lol

THIS IS MA~
Ruby met her doctor today; Todd Moores, and he gave her her first check up. She is healthy and just great, straight jaw, good teeth, no murmurs, teensy tiny legs and hooves lol.. and all good
He must have mentioned how cute she is 4-5 times. Told me she is gonna be a tiny one, and won't get much bigger... how fun!!
She was so good for him.. didn't mind him poking and prodding at all. What a good girl.

This is Ma again~had a long chat with Bug at the end of yesterday. He was quite humbled and quiet with me, shows he knew he was wrong. Let him out, and he didn' t even chase Ruby ( he always shows his dominance with her when the've been apart). We'll have a better day today. As you saw in the videos, he has plenty of room to race around and get exercise! Have a great day everyone. Thanks for following us, they sure are a fun bunch of littles.

This is Ma~ Bug was a very very bad boy today. I always let him run into his paddock himself while I gather Ruby. He decided he wasn't going to do that, and ran through our woods next to the highway, and down to the creek, that is opens into a giant field. Fortunately he chose not to run over there...I was so scared he would head to the highway, since their fencing is all rotted and rusted there, and no protection, I PRAYED TO GOD, he wouldn't. He didn't, he raced back into the yard. He is presently being punished by being locked in his stall... bad bad boy... mama is so angry... no more freedom Bug, tether ONLY. you blew it.
