One of our amazing supporters sent Cinnabon this brand new comfy and cozy bed, and she absolutely loves it! 💜We wanted to say thank you so much for thinking of our special old lady! 💤 🛌 🐾

Cinnabon is an old senior girl who is upward of ten years old. Sadly, this sweet soul was diagnosed with cancer 💔 We are looking for a loving adopter for her with no other dogs, where she can live out the rest of her life spoiled, loved and adored.

Pierre has rescue placement!

‼️URGENT‼️
Pierre ACCT-A-178817 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical concerns. Pierre must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by Wednesday, October 23rd by 10:00 am. Should Pierre’s medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change.

Due to being significantly overcapacity with animals and higher than usual intake, extensions are unlikely to be granted. If you are interested in an animal please contact ACCT Philly immediately. Due to limited space, timestamps may also be proceeded with early so it is imperative to let us know if you are considering adopting or tagging an animal.

Meet Pierre, a 4 year old dog who was surrendered after being hit by a car on 10/19. Pierre is urgently seeking placement with a rescue partner that can assist him in recovering from his injuries. He was seen at an emergency animal hospital and given x-rays to determine what injuries he sustained. He was found to have a fracture of the left femur, transverse mid-diaphyseal, left acetabular fracture and has concern for right SI luxation. Pierre is seeking a rescue partner that can perform a leg amputation and post operative care. In his kennel, Pierre allows for head pets and will perk his ears up when you speak to him in a baby voice. In his kennel Pierre has allowed for light pets on his shoulders. He preferers his head being pet and will lean into your hand for a nice massage.

BEHAVIOR NOTES:

On 10/21 per staff: Spend some time with Pierre at his kennel. When I walked over to him he immediately picked his head up and looked at me with soft eyes. I went slow as to not overwhelm him and let him sniff me. Pierre enjoys pets and will lean his head into your hand for comfort. He thoroughly enjoyed the pets and company. Despite his injuries, he is such a trooper and sweetie pie. He was tolerant of pets on his upper shoulders but preferred his head being pet and massaged much more!

On 10/21 per staff: Met Pierre today. I approached him slowly and he lifted his head to look at me with neutral eyes. He then put his head back down on his pillow. I knelt down to his kennel and with some baby talk he picked his head right back up! He wasn't nervous or scared of me, just curious. He sniffed in my direction and let me pet his head softly. Overall a sweet pup.
