Had a great time at the Central Minnesota Rabbit Club today! Such a great show!
It was so great to see everyone!

Was honored to Judged Intermediate Showmanship today! So impressed by the knowledge of all that participated!

I also was entered into the "over the hill" Showmanship class, of the many adults there were there I was honored to be in the top 5!! Congratulations on the super smart winners!!!

Took home 6 Best of Breeds and 7 Best Opposites!

We Be Rabbit Club hosted a fantastic weekend show in Hutchinson!

It was so fun to see everyone! And cause all kinds of trouble! 😂

Had a fun and interesting experience on the way home, a wright County Sheriff loved my bunnies! 😅

I'm so excited that both my rare breed rabbit breeds got reclassified on the livestock conservancy website!!

Créme D'argent has moved from threatened to watch!

Silver has moved from critical to threatened!

Both breeds have a ways to go but are heading in the right direction!

Both breeds had great numbers at their national shows and hopefully that trend continues!!

River Lakes RC hosted a triple all breed show in Richmond today and I walked away with 6 BOBs and 7 BOSBs!!! The 2 best moments during the day was in show 3 I won BOS English Spot with my Gray Sr Doe Amerude's Loves! And walking away with the Best of the Rest ribbon in the Lionhead Specialty show with Pride Rock's Li-Lac Chocolate a gorgeous Lilac sr buck!

I wouldn't have survived the day without everybody helping me show my breeds especially Nicole!

Now to go home and Breed for some convention babies!

Got home early this morning from Créme D'argent and Silver Nationals in Canton Ohio! I had so much showing and talking with everyone! Seeing friends and meeting new breeders.

Didn't win any classes but everyone had amazing animals that definitely deserved the wins!

One note worthy placement was in the Silver National open show under Judge Terry Fender my Sr Fawn Doe CA's Wendy took second to the BOV winner!

Also I got great comments on Sr Doe Kasper's Munch-A-Kin who is one of the best cremes I have produced in a while!

Added 2 bucks to the herd also
A creme from North Carolina and a Fawn Silver from New York

Yesterday and today have me so emotional drained!

Last night Denali had a beautiful little crossbred bull calf! He was on his feet right away and mom had him completely dried off by the time I got to see him!

Due to some disagreements Denali will be leaving the farm today. 😭 due to her being a dairy cow who is producing exactly how I hoped! After dreaming of having a milking cow and raising her for the past 3 years she will find somewhere else to call home. 😢 I know that this is the best for her and luckily it is to a dairy farm that is not only close by, but also they will allow me to see her from time to time and take her to shows if I do go to one!

Her little boy will get to stay here so I can raise him like I did his mom.

For once, when I close the trailer doors, I can say see you later and I don't have to say goodbye!

If you have read this far down I also need name idea for her baby!

Has to be a name that starts with D!

What a weekend!

This weekend I was Fortunately enough to be able to attend lionhead nationals in Decatur, Illinois. I brought a few lionheads with and got great comments from the judges! I took some unrecognized varieties along for the best of the rest show and was pleased with how they did!

I also brought some new animals home to help improve my herd and also added another breed to the barn!
American Sable!!

It was definitely a fun weekend and got to travel with some amazing friends!

I'm so excited to announce that there is a new species coming to the family!!

Emus!!

I just picked up these 2 beauties tonight!!! A breeding pair that will in about a year hopefully start having some chicks of their own.

I can't wait to see the personalities of these little ones!!

It will definitely be a fun adventure! 😁

Fun facts about emus!

~ they have 3 toes on each foot

~ one emu egg is equal to a dozen chicken eggs

~ they are omnivores

~ they bond with the first thing they see when they hatch

~ they are native to some place not in North America

Took out these beauties tonight. Both are homebred!! So proud of where my herd is going. Now to get some babies out of these 2 ladies soon! Love playing with fun colors and ones that play well with Chocolate.

Jinix had twin lambs this afternoon! A ram and ewe lamb. Both babies have been up and drinking already! She even wants to feed the little bottle lamb!!

This week was a rough one for the small sheep herd here. Queenie has been struggling with a bad back foot for a few days and now she has unfortunately been unable to stand on her own. She then went into labor on Monday. Unfortunately she lost 2 babies but she now has a little ewe lamb. She has yet to Stan on her own and went off feed so she can't produce milk for her baby. The bright side of all this is the little lamb is drinking great off the bottle and she seems to be getting stronger each day!!

Poppy FINALLY released her hostages this morning and they are adorable!!!! A little Buckling and doeling! She had them both up and drinking in no time!

Robin had quads today! Unfortunately 2 were DOA bit she now has 2 vocal and healthy bucklings!

This brings the total up to 10 kids!

With a new day comes new babies!

Winnie had 3 little girls! All are up and drank right away and are now cozy in the heat barrel.

Mini had a little harder delivery...
She wasn't originally planned to have babies as she is a very small framed goat so I didn't want to risk it. The Bucks had other ideas and now she is a mother. To a giant boy! He is half the size of her! We had the vet out as we thought she wouldn't be able to have him but she proved once again that she can do anything by herself!

We now wait on the last 3 mothers to be all will be first time moms!

I was hoping that we wouldn't have anyone else kid before the cold weather sets in but Quinn had other plans

She had triplets yesterday too! 2 Buckling and a little doeling. They are all healthy but are having a little trouble standing. Most likely due to it getting a little crowded the last month or so.

Now to make it past this cold snap!

Kidding pens are up and goats are moved in! This year we have moved into the old milking barn! Excited for the next few weeks. Hopefully all goes smoothly 🤞

Baby season is fast approaching and some of the ladies are definitely ready for it! This year will be hopefully the best year yet! 🤞

Took a trip out to North Dakota for the CNDRB Holiday Show, ended up spending more time here then expected due to the wind, snow and the interstate becoming a sheet of ice and closing in some parts. Hopefully tomorrow brings better road conditions! 🤞

Also took 3 youth along to experience a show and now I am coming home with a Black polish doe... the enjoyment they get out of it is worth it!
