We have a wide range of horses to suit most abilities. We have a large selection of horses for sale. You can try the horse in many situations, roadwork, hacking, cross country course or arena or even a 1/2 day hunting) and have a weeks trial for a small fee.

Another weekend another double clear for Kendelle on Lake Street Cruise. Both Kendelle and Rachel bringing their dressage scores down and both crushing the XC.
We also have another person join the DG leasing team and going BE eventing for the rest of the season so watch out we are coming in force.

This horse has been with us for primary training and is now ready to sell to someone's who wants to bring on a young horse bred to go to the top.
She has a great attitude to life and learns fast and easy horse to handle on the ground.
She is broken in and riding away hacking alone and in company riding across fields and tracks. She is good with farm traffic and other horses.
Full brother is currently with Harrison Ashton and doing well. Seen in third photo.
Has had full pre sales vetting in Jan which she passed with clean feet, hocks, stifles and back x ray's that's over £1000 worth of vetting.

It's been a long time coming but we will definitely be doing it again. The world series of Gymkhana games .official.
In celebration of Ali's birthday did an amazing job of organising this event.
The horses loved it. It was laughter all day and much beer/port was drank and spilt. Thanks to everyone who took part and made it such a fun day. Keep an eye out for next year's event.

Me and Jimmy on the hunt this event season.
We went to our first ODE with an open mind. My first ODE for two years and Jimmy's for 12 months. We dipped our toe in the water to see where we were at.
I was pleased to get an easy double clear in the jumping aspect. Dressage however we was very tense and received a 48.8 which wasn't what I wanted but we know what we have to work on this summer.
Last year it was all about the show jumping, this year it will be all about the dressage.
Watch this space as me and Jimmy keep pushing up the levels at British eventing.

**Special opportunity to combine polo with a fun ride***
The DG team went on tour visiting the and getting to meet the whole crew there.
Such friendly people and a super fun atmosphere. They gave us our first lesson on polo. Safe to say we all had a blast. Their horses were perfect and we were all laughing all afternoon.
We got to watch a few chuckers after too which was cool to see how the pros do it.
We are doing a special day at the VWH fun ride on 25th May where you can have the opportunity to go on a fun ride, lunch and have a group lesson in polo with the on the same day.

Chester, 16,2 , 2014 ISH chestnut Gelding
Chester has proven himself a lovely hunt horse for anyone to ride with plenty of engine. He has been hunting in the UK since 2019 with Beaufort, VWH and others. He has whipped in at the Heythrop on a handful of occasions and hunted hounds with VWH also. This horse has a lovely temperament, easy to handle on the ground, good to shoe, Box and clip.
Chester is a confident hunt horse that will go first or last. Hes has competed in the Wessex Yeomanry hunt ride completing with first lady home He's not strong on the hunting field. He will jump anything with ease, ditches, wire, gates and hedges.

Congratulations to Frank for completing his 10 days hunting in 10 days challenge. Frank set him self the target after being the first to complete in 2021 and felt ten days was the next logical step.
Safe to say we had an absolute blast. The first 7 days we were together with Sarah and Lindsay who took the trip from New Hampshire USA to take on challenge, Frank and I went on three more days to complete 10/10.
We were lucky enough to hunt across the UK touching Wales, across to Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
This is by far the best way to experience hunting in the UK. An all in package we offer for groups of up to four. Come and hunt with us at DG Equine and we will show you the week of a lifetime on the best horses in the hunting field.

did not disappoint. Lindsey and Sarah made the journey from the US to come over and take on the challenge of hunting 7 days with 7 packs in England. Frank who completed the last one couldn't resist doing it again too.
We had one of the most fun weeks possible hunting with VWH, Heythrop, Cotswolds, Beaufort, Ledbury Berkeley and Staff college drag hounds.
Everyone did amazingly especially the horses! It was a wet one but we definitely made the most of it and enjoyed every day.
Thanks to the team back home Claire, Martha DG Carol and Carina for keeping the wheels rolling all week while we all went galavanting across the country.
Thanks to all the hunts and hunt staff for allowing us to join them even though the ground was sodden. And thanks to our amazing horses for doing such a fine job in taking us where we needed to go and carried us so safely across the land.
This is a truly epic way to spend a week in England. I've done it multiple times now and can't get enough. If you are thinking it's something you would like to do, don't wait! Book your trip with us and take on the challenge of hunting 7 days with 7 packs. We do all the organising all you have to do it drink up and kick on.
Already looking forward to the next time and it's not quite over yet as Frank and I are going onto do 10 15 day's. Why? Because we are savages!

Another day showjumping and rosettes collected by team DG. We are starting to get used to this!
My goal of the summer to compete in my first novice class at BE completed with the joy of riding Jimmy (Mr Double Clear). 6/6 double clears this season and with ease. This horse makes you feel anything is possible. Jumping around @ecastonlewalls XC was super fun and I can not wait for the next run. My respect for eventers has grown substantially this season especially now I realise the speed you actually have to go around the cross country as well as the technical aspect and height. For those wanting to have a go at eventing we hire and lease long term for these events and have been attending all the unaffiliated events in 2024. Our team has had great success and not to mention fun in the eventing this summer and you can have yours too. Take it from me it's not for the faint hearted and it is a challenge to try to beat your score every time you go but when the results come in there is no feeling like it. Big fall at fence 6 in the Yeomanry ride. We got all the way to fence 6. Snowdon hit the wall going down hill and went onto his knees on landing. I did my best to sit back on landing but I couldn't sit that. Snowdon went on to enjoy the ride without me. Eventually when he was caught by Annie Maidmen we were able to enjoy a good day's hunting. Well done to the other competitors and Rory for the win. Must try harder for the next event at the Golden button.

Dougie has come along leaps and bounds and is now ready for sale. 15,2hh, 9yr old gelding. A lovely well tempered horse to suit anyone looking to enjoy and bring on for low level competitions, or have a nice horse to have as a happy hacker. All horses doing us proud today British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) You never know this dressage might catch on. The horses took to it very well and actually we enjoyed seeing them going so nicely. We are definitely interested in doing more events like this in the future. Bring on tomorrow with the show-jumping aspect.
It's time to sell these two amazing ponies. Both 13,1 and looking for new homes. They have been really good first and second ponies for our family and given lots of children real confidence to enjoy riding and hunting. Dolly, 13,1, 11yrs, Lilly, 13,1, 8yrs, Both very nice easy to handle ponies suitable for first and second pony's. Please share with your friends who might be interested.

DG Equine 2 at Worcester TC. First time out for Snowdon since the Heythrop hunt race 2022. He went round very nicely and it was good to be paired up with him again. Martha Harring was one Lakestreet Cruise which it was a first for him also and one which Martha rode him very well leading over plenty of the course. Watch this space this summer as we plan to event him and see how he gets on. Well done to the rest of the team Rhiannon and Audry. We all completed with no tip ups.
