Important message

Today, we honor Quinn. He was a beloved member of his family, but tragically, he lost his life due to a severe GI obstruction caused by something so many of us have lying around - hair ties and ponytail holders.

These everyday items might seem harmless, but to our curious feline friends, they can be dangerous - even deadly. Please, keep them out of reach. Store them safely, be mindful of what’s left on counters, and always watch for signs of trouble like vomiting, loss of appetite, or lethargy.

Quinn’s story is a heartbreaking reminder that cat-proofing our homes can save lives. Let’s honor him by spreading awareness and keeping our cats safe. ❤️‍🩹

🐾Finley came to us after being rescued from the streets by a caring family. Because of your support, we could take him in and get him the basic medical care he needed. He moved to one of our fabulous foster homes and met the petsitter, who couldn’t resist his charm. She realized he’d be the perfect playmate for her young kitten at home. It was meant to be! ❤️
