Friends of Felines, Stamford CT We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit caring for homeless and otherwise forgotten cats in our community. Interested in adopting?

We take the welfare of our cats and kittens seriously. Each receives the best in food and vet care, as well as hours of love and cuddling. This year, we are asking for a donation of $225 for a single kitten and $200 each for a pair of kittens. The amount for cats over 1-year-old is still $150. All of our cats are checked out by a vet, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and tested for the FIV and feline leukemia viruses.

🐾We’re thrilled to announce that Waffles 🧇, Peanut 🥜, and Strawberry 🍓 have all been adopted! 🎉
🐾These three kittens were part of the first litter rescued from a boiler room in an industrial complex earlier this year. Despite a rough start, these kittens will now spend their lives in comfortable, loving homes. You made that possible. Thank you.
🐾This boiler room is a magnet for kittens. A second litter of kittens was rescued and is waiting for forever homes.

🐾Our talented volunteer author, Susan, has a brand-new story out — and this one features Levi, one of our long-term Friends of Felines rescues. 🐱💛
🐾This special series showcases real cats from our rescue seeking homes, blending their stories with timeless cat lore from around the world. Levi’s story is inspired by the mysterious fern seed and its magic.
🐾Not only will you fall in love with Levi, but you’ll also be helping cats in real life — $10 from each book is donated to Friends of Felines.

🐾We’re thrilled to share that Amur & Atlantic and Casper & Patches will both be adopted… by their foster families!
🐾Foster fails are always a little bittersweet. Both families were repeat fosters who opened their homes to help cats make the transition from homeless to adopted — and we’ll miss them in our foster network.
🐾But what a beautiful outcome for these sweet cats: they get to stay right where they are, in the homes they’ve already grown to love. They’ll now spend their lives cherished by families who adore them.

😻 Huge thanks to our friends Darien Library for inviting us to be part of Caturday at the Library yesterday! 📚
🐾It was the purr-fect opportunity to share the plight of homeless cats in our community and help some of them find loving homes at the adoption event. 💙
🐾The library staff were incredible hosts—we’re so grateful for your support and partnership. 🙏✨
🐾And thank you to everyone who attended—we loved your enthusiasm for all things feline (and spotting both kids and adults rocking cat ears 🐱).
🐾Last but not least, heartfelt thanks to our fantastic volunteer team who made our participation possible. You guys rock!!
