I wish so badly I had gotten a before of this little guy.
When I first began working with him, he never stopped barking. He wanted to eat me for dinner. His mom couldn’t answer the door but yelled “come in” while she held him leashed on the other side of the room.

Through tailored behavior modification specifically designed for him, he had made dramatic progress. He still barks but it is nothing like what it was.

I can also enter the house without being charged. It’s successes like this that reminds me of why I do what I do.

Looking forward to seeing Winter's journey and see her happy in her new home.

Meet Winter, our sweet warrior who’s had quite the journey! She came into the shelter emaciated, a walking skeleton, but her spirit never wavered.

Once she regained her strength, Winter found herself in a foster-to-adopt situation. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, leaving her in limbo. We knew this incredible girl deserved unconditional love, so we enrolled her in our 8-week prison program, and that's where the magic happened!

The moment her new handler met Winter, he was completely in awe, and Winter felt an instant connection. Their bond is truly something special, and we can't wait to share their journey with you!

I’m finally getting around to teach Storm how to stack donuts. Typically, I would have used more of a shaping technique instead but this wouldn’t have worked in her case. She is a dog who loves to tug and chew. Her favorite thing is ripping paper and boxes so with this exercise, I had to control her interactions with the toy so that she wouldn’t take it and chew it up. #dogbehavior #dogtraining #dogtricks #dogenrichment #trickdog
