It’s cold and it’s time to take precautions for those pups!

There are a variety of helpful products available to ensure your dog enjoys the winter safely. However, the best advice I can give is to limit your dogs time outside if they’re not breed for a colder climate or just don’t seem to enjoy it.

The cold can be dangerous, but it’s equally fun when done correctly.

Get outside and make the most of it, the winter is long!

Does your dog know it’s a dog?

Do you treat your dog like a child or a dog?

Setting boundaries isn’t just appropriate it’s necessary. Teach your pup the difference between a privilege and a right.

Your house, your car, your body, your rules. You don’t have to set the same rules as us or anyone else, but you should set some and stick with them.

Dogs LOVE to learn and they won’t hate you for enforcing limits on their behavior.

Getting better control with a dog takes very little work, but it does take a lot of consistency.

We don’t use “sit”, we prefer “down” because it’s easier for a dog to understand what you want. Sit is a ready command, Down is a submission command. When asking for a calm and relaxed dog it’s better to put them into a position they naturally settle into for that purpose.

Teaching an adorable puppy not to pick up food that falls on the floor. This is a great skill for EVERYONE to work on.

It can be dangerous or even deadly for a dog to go after random things that fall on the floor. It’s easily avoidable with the proper technique and training. At just a few months old this little monster is figuring out our rules quickly.

Fast training, easy training and most importantly, effective training.
