Doggy Daycare - Walks - At Home Pet Sitting - Off-Site Boarding - Training & More

On January 1st 2026 we’ll be raising the rate for a couple of our service’s.

Boarding and In-Home Pet Sitting on additional dogs will go up, solo or first dog prices will not be raised. First dog $100, additional dogs $60. We’re also raising the cost for our Private Training Sessions. Was $300, now $400.

Currently, we charge $40 for each additional pup after the first household member boarding or in-home pet sitting. We’ll be raising that rate to $60 as of January 1st 2026. Individual dog prices will remain the same.

Private Training Sessions will cost $400 as of January 1st 2026. Private training sessions are done at your home and whenever it convenient for you (days, nights or weekends). This is one of our clients favorite services and still the least expensive training service within Vermont!

We keep rates down as much as possible, unfortunately we have to raise rates periodically due to inflation. However, we’ll never reduce the quality of care or change our policy of maintaining low capacity.

Capacity Limits. BIGGER is NOT better!

Walk My Dog is a better place for your pup because we have clear capacity limits! Many doggy daycare programs have 50, 75 or even 100+ dogs per day contained within small yards or inside small buildings.
That is not what we do!

Dogs need ample room to run and play. Anxiety, stress and fear is developed in crowded daycares. We know, we rehabilitate dogs that previously attended those other facilities all year long.

Unfortunately, our capacity limit also creates a long backlog aka waitlist. We don’t always prioritize clients based on the order they come in. Sometimes it’s based on location (Essex is our preference, it’s where we’re located). We include pick up and drop off service as part of our daycare program at no additional cost. So we prefer to have dogs on our existing routes whenever possible.

If you’d like to give your pup the opportunity to experience the Best services then look no further.

We have openings for many of our other services and we continually look for larger properties for future expansion as well.

STOP using a harness or gentle lead and learn how to properly walk your dog on a leash!

No fancy equipment needed, just proper technique. Avoiding a problem isn’t going to solve the long term issue. In actuality, it’s likely to make things get worse in that area or elsewhere.

Maybe a bootcamp or rehab is a good fit. We offer the opportunity for a dog of any age, breed or ability to come stay with us and learn vital skills like: manners, respect, recall and self control. Also, leash training, no, down, how to socialize and so much more.

Also, check for allergies, bones and toxins. Sharing in moderation is fine, but many human foods contain unnecessary sugars in abundance that are harmful for dogs.
