✨UPDATE ✨

Ultimo has accepted an orphan foal that lost its mother earlier this morning. They are both doing well and we hope they continue to heal each other’s hearts.

Last night Smart Little Ultimo lost her foal. If anyone has an orphan foal needing a mother, please reach out to us. She is located at Idaho Equine West, near Walla Walla, Washington. The mare must remain at our ranch south of Pendleton. We are not willing to send her to another location.

FOUR SILVER GUNS ~ 2020 Red Roan Gelding 🍁

Cuatro is a ranch-raised gelding we have owned since he was a wealing. He was lightly started as a two-year-old and turned out to mature. This Fall, I have got him back in and have been very impressed with his gentle, willing, kind demeanor. He saddles up quietly and is a gentleman to be around. While ridden out, he travels on a loose rein and is relaxed. He is a naturally low-headed c**t who wants to be good about his face.

Cuatro has been tracking slow cattle in the round-pen, and seems like he will make a nice rope horse. I have flagged other c**ts off him and found him very helpful. Cuatro has four full brothers who have gone on to make excellent using, family-type geldings, and this c**t will do the same.

'May' is a 2022 Bay Filly by One Fine Vintage x Smart Little Ultimo a NCHA money earner that is an own daughter of Smart Little Lena. A balanced filly that is ranch raised in Eastern Oregon. She spent all summer on the steep hillside in a hard environment. She is very sensitive, willing, and pleasant to be around. She has had her feet trimmed, ties, and has been stalled these last few weeks while being worked lightly in the round pen.

May is an all-around prospect that could cut, rope, or cowhorse. One Fine Vintage has earnings of $135,187, and his offspring have earned $209,000 across disciplines. BLUE | RO TIGER BLUE DOX, 2016 Blue Roan Gelding

Blue was rode extensively on the GI as a four-year-old. He gathered rough country, roped a lot of cattle outside, and branded thousands of calves. Recently has been started on the head-end, used at ranch rodeos in horse ropings, and hauled to some low-numbered jackpots.

Blue is a finished ranch horse, but will need someone with some experience to finish him on the head-end.

Tres is a straight-legged c**t, ready to start in the spring your way. We purchased this c**t to resale and raise with another c**t we own. He has been wormed, vaccinated, and has had his feet trimmed. He spent all summer on a rocky steep hillside learning to handle his feet. This c**t gets around himself well and should make a nice ranch rope horse prospect. He has numerous full siblings making a living. We have a 7-year-old full brother to him that is 15.2 hands, 1250 lbs. and good to head on. He will mature into a nice gelding.

SOLD ~ WAYLON | 2017 BAY GELDING

A CATTISH KITTY, by Sweetshot Playgun, own son of Playgun. Waylon was started by Justin Bailey and spent a lot of his two and three-year-old years in our program at Bailey Performance Horses. As a four and five-year-old he was seasoned and hauled to junior rodeos. Waylon ties quietly to the trailer all day.

Waylon can sit for long periods and has absolutely no holes. He is a true gentleman and a joy to have around. He rides quietly away from other horses, is very easygoing, and is fun to ride. He is a safe horse to brand on, and has a helpful type of attitude.

Waylon rides softly in a bridle, is a good lead changer, and has been recently started on the heel end. He has been started slowly with a lot of cattle scored on him. He will finish on the heel side to fit a lower-numbered roper. An excellent young prospect with his whole life ahead of him, he is a one-of-a-kind gelding.
