I suppose everyone, in some way or another, has been affected by covid over these past couple of years. Whether it be infection, loss of income, or plain disruption of what we once called a normal life. So, this post is not a request for “sympathy” post, more like a recap that not all of us were fortunate enough to have gone through it all unscathed. And a kind reminder as to why some things need to change, not necessarily by choice.
I have what is termed Long Covid vaccine injury. Pretty self-explanatory. Unfortunately for the past few months, I have felt like my life has been turned upside down and nothing is as it once was. Diagnosis is not easy as there is no specific test, only a brilliant doctor like I have can make the diagnosis based on symptoms and blood tests basically for elimination. There is no cure (at least for now) so basically it is a wait and see situation and go with the flow. The only good thing is it is self-limiting, and I can’t infect someone else.
So, if I am slow to post one of my creations to a buyer, or slow to finish an order, or answer a question, or upload a video, or do whatever was done efficiently and promptly in the past, now you know why. The same can be said as to why I turn down invitations or engage in activities I once loved. I don’t know from one day to the next how I will feel. I may have one good day, where I try to get as much as I possibly can done and then followed by days of being unable to do anything at all because I am so totally fatigued, I literally feel like I am under anesthetic, and I am totally incapacitated and all I do is deep sleep all day!
So, all the above has forced me to stop taking custom orders for as long as I am in this state. In fact, I will only be working on any of my creations at a much slower pace than before and as I can, when I can. I will not be accepting deposits for the same reason.
I know there are probably a lot of you that have no clue what this is, in fact, you may be suffering from it yourself and are oblivious as to what is happening to you. For this reason, I am providing this short video that fully explains the symptoms (most of which I am suffering) for your better understanding. Thanks for reading this lengthy post.

Why doesn't Facebook leave well enough alone?? They have changed the overall look to this group and I feel lucky to have found where to post! Goodness me!! Okay, so I am still struggling with this strange virus, hence why I have been MIA. I have also decided to part with a couple of young adults. Just to ease the management part of things.
