🌈 Last week we were able to help a resident of Cleveland by laying his dog to rest, after being diagnosed with an aggressive tumor on the paw. Here is a picture of Pooh! The initial estimate was $100 (euthanasia). However, the bill was actual $240 (euthanasia plus cremation). We have raised $100 already but if you would like to donate towards the balance of the bill, we would appreciate it.

We are so grateful to have the support of our Facebook family and friends to help a purrfect stranger and his pup! 🌈

As many of you know, we care for a number of feral cats in the downtown area by the Cleveland Clinic. One of the residents has a severely sick dog. Two different people have stepped up and paid for the dog to be seen by a veterinarian. Unfortunately, it is a cancerous mass and the owner has finally agreed to euthanize his pet. The APL will do the euthanasia for $100 but he cannot afford it. If you'd like to contribute a few dollars to help cover the cost please consider making a donation. We will cover it initially, but with all of the extra costs we have incurred with our own rescues and feral cats, we need help from our community!

🐾 EXPERIENCED CAT WHISPERER NEEDED! 🐾
Meet Miss Daisy! This beautiful 1-year-old female was trapped a couple weeks ago and developed severe diarrhea and vomiting. She is all better now and as you can see from the video, NOT super feral. She is less than 1 years old and scheduled to be RELEASED in the next day or 2. Just looking to see if an experienced cat whisperer might be able to work with her for a week or 2. We just want to give her the best possible chance at finding an indoor home. We know everyone is full and has a lot going on but if this is something you might want to give a try please let us know. We can provide supplies.

Kelley's Kritters is closed for intake until further notice!

🐾 Please do not tag me in posts regarding cats or kittens. Do not send me Facebook messages regarding cats or kittens.

🐾 Adoptions have been very slow so we are backed up.

🐾 Donations have been slower than usual (but we are super grateful for those who continue their support)!

🐾 Foster homes and volunteers have declined in the last year so we are only able to house cats and kittens when we have foster homes available!

Sorry if this is an inconvenience. On occasion other people need to be inconvenienced so they understand the magnitude of the problem that exists every year with kittens and kittens season.

Thank you to everyone that has donated to help us with our vet bills. It is greatly appreciated!❤️

The last several weeks have been extremely busy as we have taken in 15 kittens!!! Apart from the run of the mill flea-tick-lice infestation the majority of them had, we are now dealing with ringworm and a severe case of coccidia in multiple kittens. Needless to say, our veterinary bills have skyrocketed and are we are burning through lots of medicines, food, litter and patience 😴. To date, we have managed to rack up $1,023.28 in vet bills and pharmacy orders. We haven't even calculated the cost of kitten chow, litter and canned food AND We have to head back to the morning with 2 more kittens that are very sick with the parasite 🤕. We know everyone is struggling to get by, but if you can spare a few bucks we would be super grateful!

Sheldon is getting his forever home and we are super excited! The catch is that is his new family is out of town & cannot pick him up until next Thursday (10/31). Can anyone provide a small bathroom or space for him to stretch his legs and free up our cage at the store? He is super friendly!! We can provide supplies! It's only a *7* day commitment! Alanis Morrissette is enjoying plenty of playtime, in between frequent vet visits! She was vaccinated yesterday and her eye was re-examined. She still has corneal abnormalities but is improving! We are to continue the topical eye ointment 4x per day!!! She will also receive weekly vet visits to check her progress! As you might imagine, this is a costly journey!
