Moved the 2024 holdback Exanthematicus to a larger enclosure for the lot of them. When given space and the right medium and some hides buried under the medium they do instinctually make little dens. Complete with entrances and exits. Yesterday I had regraded this cage did my usual fresh isopod culture and charcoal to keep
It bio active and this morning two cute little entrances with a little nose showing.

Our Story

It all started with a love for reptiles!

I've been keeping and breeding various reptiles for over 22 years. I acquired my first “pet” snake when I was 8 years old and it went from there. A typical NJ Garter snake, turned into an obsession for all reptiles, and quickly a passion turned into a hobby, and then a business. It all really blew up with the monitors. To this day, I would say that owning a monitor lizard is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done. They aren’t for everyone, but if you want intelligent, active, and big then you couldn’t ask for a better species to work with. Because of my own love of the hobby - I solely dedicate to keeping a small collection focused of animals that I rear and grow myself. The focus is on quality, careful gene selection, and optimal health that I want to share with you, my patrons!
