Hello all!

This Sunday in the Sauer Sundays Fermentation Club we are talking natural sodas: ginger bugs, ginger beer, tepache and more! This is an open work time and not a strongly structured class - but we do provide space, tunes, recipes, guidance and good company! Come and go as you need to :)

If you'd like to make and take, here is what you need to bring! We will be providing spices and raw cane sugar! I will try to have jars for purchase, but bringing your own is always the best strategy :)

If you would like to make tepache:
Please bring 1 - 2 ripe pineapples!
1 jalapeno pepper (or other hot chile)
Ideal jar: half gallon food safe jar, a quart will work!

If you would like to make a Ginger bug:
Two branches of ginger
1 qt jar

The good news about these ferments is that a rubber band and a scrap of clean tshirt or cloth is fine for the top!

See you tomorrow, 1 to 4 pm.
